Cerceus Pattern Bolter
Veteran Sergeant posted a gallery image in Adeptus Astartes/Legiones Astartes
From the album: True Scale / Tall Scale prototypes
Concept art (shamelessly borrowed from whomever did the original mockup) for the Cerceus-Pattern Bolter I'll be using with my conversion project. The Cerceus Pattern bolter places the barrel more in line with the charging handle.ejection port, flipping the auto-sense targeter link underneath the barrel. This allows for greater ammunition capacity, and a simplified internal mechanism. Front sight post has been shaved down since it had no corresponding rear sight anyway, and was thus non-functional. Instead the top cowls conceal flip-up auxiliary sights in case the Marine's helmet is disabled. -
Multimelta Conversion Space Marine 40K Cerceus Pattern
Veteran Sergeant posted a gallery image in Adeptus Astartes/Legiones Astartes
From the album: True Scale / Tall Scale prototypes
Multimelta conversion designed to evoke a more transportable, less bulky weapon. Meltabomb based fuel cannister. Pose came from an old Marine torso I had apparently clued together with forever-glue. So I challenged myself to figure out a pose for a figure with it's head to the left. So this Marine is looking back while his weapon and torso remain pointed "foward". I envision him at a corner behind cover looking back to see if his squadmates are ready to charge in after he blasts whatever is around the corner.-

Bolter Conversion Cerceus Pattern
Veteran Sergeant posted a gallery image in Adeptus Astartes/Legiones Astartes
From the album: True Scale / Tall Scale prototypes
Bolter conversion to eliminate the oversized (and non-functional) front sight post, moved the barrel up to be in line with the charging handle, moving the targeter nub underneath the barrel.-

File Name: Sid's Rebalanced 40K: Core Rules File Submitter: Brother Sidonius File Submitted: 26 Sep 2021 File Category: Warhammer 40,000 Warhammer 40k is a fun game but some rules in 9th edition can be frustrating or even counter intuitive at times. This rebalance addresses these instances in the Core Book with simple erratas. Click here to download this file

This topic is a place for all my Homegrown Rules to be collated in one place. Each project will be separated into it’s own section and a link to the files from the project will be provided. I am currently working on two projects simultaneously; Sid's Rebalanced 40K, which aims to FAQ as much derp and cheese out of the game as possible to make matched play more fun and balanced, and Sid’s Open Play 40K, which overhauls the entire game to include older mechanics like armour values, blast markers and flamer templates. Eventually I also hope to write some Campaigns which will of course be called Sid's Narrative 40K. This whole thing is a giant work in progress so stay tuned for updates as they come! A quick note on the Rebalance project, since each file is no bigger than a typical FAQ, their rules can be found in the support topic in addition to the downloadable file. This allows them to be viewed and used more easily. SID'S REBALANCED 40K Core Rules (Download) SID'S OPEN PLAY 40K
