Hello fellow princeps! Having finally gotten an account in this vibrant community, I guess it's only appropriate to start by showing off some miniature goodness. I have a personal compulsion to convert everything to make it unique, even if only slightly, and a Titan Legio would be no exception. Legio Favilla, the Ashen Gods, are not a frontline battle Legio as such, originally developed for more sombre purposes of acting as final arbitrators of imperial justice for civilizations that resisted too vehemently. Theirs was an unenviable lot, from a sane point of view, to descend in flames to wipe whole worlds' inhabitants from existence until no shred of memory remained. "Imperator Domine, in cinere dona eis requiem" - Lord Emperor, grant peace for their ashes. They've often marched alongside the XIV legion Astartes, with whom they share a grim and humorless attitude towards advancing the great efforts of the Imperium. Currently I'm up at 2 Warlords, 3 Reavers, 4 Warhounds and 10 Knights of some varieties built with some more in boxes or being eyed on the shelves. AT hits just the right buttons, plastic crack train has no brakes Paintingwise, trying out NMM for the first time in any seriousness was a spur of the moment decision that came about as I was starting the first Warlord. Using metallic paints just didn't feel right on this scale, so I went with a more expressive and less realistic style to try and capture some of that sweet, heavy atmosphere of baroque paintings, stepping out of their frames and striding into the furious, mad symphony of war. I apologize for phone pictures, future updates should have an actual system camera behind them from now on. The grand smurf of the order, Iudex Ultionis - The Judge of Vengeance, first to fall from the heavens horns blaring. Here he is, guiding the little lambs to slaughter like a good shepherd. I'll eventually get around to take proper pics of them too. The second lord, Memento Mori - reminder for the opposition of their own mortal frailty. His base will have a despairing soldier staring up, gun fallen from slack fingers. Reavers underway: Aurora Terribilis - the Terrifying Dawn, last gasp of regret the enemy has before their doom and Damnatio Memoriae - fate of those destined to be swept off from the collective memory of the galaxy. First Reaver to get ready: Ruina Superborum - the Ruin of the Haughty, that which inevitably follows for the fools who dared to resist the bearers of the Aquila. What is a Legio without its loyal Hounds of war? Let them run and dance in the ashes. Edax Rerum - (like Time) Who Devours All. Echo Dolorum - the Echo of Sorrows. Occisor Spesi - Murderer of Hope. Cineres Immensi - the Vast Ashes. And some Cerastus waiting their turn. Acherons' flamers were converted from Warhound's Inferno Cannons, fits nicely I find. Cor aut mors, brethren!

Hey all! Have been kicking around the Admech and Space Wolf forums on here for a few years, but recently delved into the world of titanicus whilst needing a new painting project during the latest lockdown Im still working on the fluff for my Legio, but im currenlty writing up to tie into my admech army, who I wanted to borrow the paint scheme off. (the fluff around my admech army is that they are an explorator fleet, so this will be the Legio that they have with them - 30k/40k dependant haha) Must say, the titanicus models are AWESOME. Some of the most fun Ive had building and painting in a while - all weapons/heads (and the torsos on warhounds) are magentised (first time doing that in ages too!). I still have a bit of basing to do on the reavers and half the cerastus knights. But basically built and painted 4x warhounds, 2x reivers and 6x cerastus knights in just over a week, so fairly chuffed. Still to decide which Legio to use the rules for. Also had my first game of AT last weekend, where I split my legio down the middle and had a starter game with my brother in law. Really cool game/system and both thoroughly enjoyed our titans exploding all over the place (we may have understimated pushing those reactors!). Please to say I won the first game though (although went to the wire). Anyway, enough chat, heres some pics. Ill be adding more to this thread both pic and fluff wise over the next two months. Once the basing is finished on the last few models ill definately be picking up a Warlord to head the pack. I also need to get a better backdrop - the kettle isnt quite cutting it P.s. for those with sharp eyes, the 6mm admech/titanguard on some of the bases are from Vanguard Miniatures. Legio ++ Name Redacted ++ Finished Warhounds Finished Cerastus Knights Reavers (still to be fully based) Vanguard Minis - 6mm 'admech' basing fun

Hello everyone, I've finished my project a while ago (if you want to see WiP pictures, follow the link in my signature), but I hadn't gotten around to taking finished pictures of my Legio Tempestus. I've still got one Reaver, another Warhound, as well as a Macro Gatling Blaster and a Mori Quake Cannon to paint, but the original scope of engines I wanted to do is done, plus an additional, unplanned Reaver. I'm not sure if I want to do any more engines after that, but MAYBE I'll buy a third Warlord for a diorama with a repair platform. One thing I'm still waiting for are the decals (which is why you'll see a few blank spots), and an excuse to start a bunch of Knights of Cydonia ... errr a House Taranis detachment. So here are some pictures for that. First, two group pictures, followed by the individual engines in multiple angles. Warlord - Deus Tempestus Warlord - Tharsis Hastatus Reaver - Arcadia Fortis Reaver - Metallus Cebrenia Reaver - Lator Bronte Reaver - Astrus Lux Reaver - Raptoria Reaver - Lupus Rex

Yes I know- yet another project... but I've been waiting to do this one for some time so it's nice to finally get going. As you may recall from my Martian pilgrim project I really found exploring the Red Planet in the pre-heresy period absolutely fascinating. I've always been attracted to the idea that the Machine Cult is suffused with Eastern influences in the same way that the Terran part of the Imperium is influenced by a gothic sensibility, and in my diorama from way back with Martian pilgrims, I imagined the Martian backwaters as being very Tibetan, dotted with little tech-stupas, prayer flags and fortified monasteries. I've always wanted to expand on that idea, and when the Warlord Titan came out several years ago I came up with a great idea for my own god engine. Unfortunately I don't have the space or the money for a full-size (well, 28mm- you know what I mean) God-machine (and even if I did I would probably be single in very short order were I to buy one), but when Adeptus Titanicus was announced I realised that I could explore some of the same concepts but transposing what I wanted to do into Epic scale; taking that Inq28 sensibility and doing things on a grander scale than before while retaining the same care, attention and interest in the more obscure bits of the lore. The plan is to model and paint the Warlord Titan Verum Semita, of the Legio Claustritumus (also known as the Iron Wardens), one of the more devout Legios of the Collegia Titanica, as it appeared in the period immediately following the Treaty of Olympus Mons. (As a side note, why Verum Semita? Translated into Low Gothic from the techna linguis it means "True Path", referencing the Sixth Universal Law of the Machine Cult, "Understanding is the true path to comprehension"). I really want to stress the nature of a Warlord as an individualised living avatar of the Machine God, a venerated religious artefact, while calling back to some of the old accessories that a Titan could have back in the day. In practice, this means replacing the upper superstructure and weapons hardpoints with something more devotional, as well as various other more subtle changes. It also means giving my God-machine a nice scenic setting with plenty of people scurrying around underfoot like ants in order to show off the scale. And yes, this means that I am recreating a little piece of Mars- and in many ways this is more the focus of the piece than the Titan. We'll be visiting part of the Planum Australe, Mars' rural southern highlands. But more of that later. Next up, some thoughts as to traditional Martian architecture, a few examples and how that'll all fit together!

Pretty much the thread title. Does anyone have a size comparison photo of a Warlord from Adeptus Titanicus and an Armiger? Or if anyone has both models would you please be kind enough to take a comparison shot and share on here? I'm hoping if the sizes are roughly the same that I can convert the Warlord into an Armiger as personally I think it's body looks more 'Knighty'.

Hi all, thought I'd stop posting and lurking everyone else's threads and post my own stuff, seems we've got a fledgling community going on in this corner of the forum!... I'm doing Legio Praesagius because I love the scheme and their odd, slightly dodgy low Gothic name, which makes you wonder how their story could have gone differently if they'd hung out with the Word Bearers just a little longer...and Legio Gryphonicus because it's a classic, timeless scheme that just...works. And they have more than the 12 engines Praesagius is apparently left with... Enough talk, pics!.... Arx Argenti [silver Fortress], the first engine I worked on, from out of box to completely finished in 6 days. (Which is like...witchcraft for me!) Also known as Thrice Blessed due to an unfortunate incident in which I built the lower legs on backwards an only noticed on the fourth day of painting... Dux Ferrum [iron Duke], a good, solid name for a good, solid legio! Needs weathering & decals, but I smashed the glass airbrush jar I use for applying varnish, so it's on hold for now... I'm one of those who paints titans on the sprue...I've never painted anything like this before, but I just found it a lot easier, and way more natural if you're using an airbrush, and you're gonna be painting your chassis separately anyway... I've got 3 Reavers underway (2 Gryphonicus, 1 Praesagius), but I'm in the middle of a weighty undertaking, nearly 4500 points of Sons of Horus for a campaign in December. I presume the imminent Warhound release will keep my motivation strong though!

After a many-year hiatus, I've (mostly) put my hobby bench back together, and am ready to start getting dirty. For my Loyalist Legio, I've created Legio Lupos, the Wolf Pack. ...and for the Traitors, Legio Erinyes. For Loyalist Knights, House LowenKralle ...and lastly for today, a WIP of my Questoris Scion. Clearly I also need a lesson in how to properly post images to the forums! All of the pics are here:
