Decided to just get on with and blitz the Chapter Master and get him finished (at 2am....)

This one has made me invest in an airbrush and compressor set up, so breaking some real new hobby ground for the first time in years.

Here is the promised Khârn update!

 

Painting:

Khârn is 100% complete - both heads and both weapons are done.

Raven Guard is 100% complete

Bases are 90% complete - just need to pick out the details on the scenic base.

 

Then it's a blast with the blood and weathering. Then sealed and dullcoated.

 

Then he's heading home.

Khârn the Bloody. Battle Captain of the 8^th Company, Legio XII – The World Eaters.

 

Finished this bad boy. Really liked working with this kit and I hope Lestat is pleases with the way he’s turned out too.

 

Got to try a few new things, practice working with white armour, and found out that Dullcoat dulls EVERYTHING! Including the super-glossy Blood For The Blood God.  Oh well. Live and learn.

Still very much WIP, with a lot of work to do filling using both types of greenstuff. Need to around the original door outlines and fill them in, then the gapin big holes around the exhausts. Them need to trim the new upper exhausts to blend into the old lower ones.

 

 

But I think it looks okay.

 

 

I did a similar thing myself to make a Deimos Inspired Rhino/whatever the turret is on it at the time. I like yours it has a simple quality that makes it look more official as now apparent in the painted update. Great job as with all I have seen in the thread so far.
