TEMPLARS! Such as awesome army per the fluff and you are certainly doing them justice here! Loving that Knights as well as those bikers. I always thought the generic GW bikers were a bit bland but you have added so much character to them, making them look less like stormtroopers and more like individual warriors. Well done!

Thank you all for the kind comments, glad you all like the bikers. There will be more on the way, but will after my first ETL vow is completed. So next update will be my painted Thunderhawk. Sooooo looking forward to getting that thing finished, I've had it for 9 years odd now.  :wacko.:

Out of likes, but know that this single post just made my day. Hell, it made my whole week! :woot:

Your thunderhawk isn't metal by any chance is it (I only ask because of the age)? Because, I'll be damned if that thing isn't more ridiculous than the 40k universe itself! More lead in that thing than was used in the American Revolution!

Oh god no!, that thing was a brick to far, you could give that to miley cyrus so she could use it for her wreaking ball. ( I must point here, I'm not fan of hers, and someone photoshop that idea right now). Was a nice model for the time it was created, and if you like retro GW then cool, but my one is a FW resin one.

STORM RAVEN!

Finally got around to finishing one of the models from my ETL vow, I had less time than thought to do painting :sad.: .

modified the tail a little as never liked the way GW made it. I had it fully made with landing gear out, but wanted it flying and while I was at changing the tail and ripped the landing gear out...carefully.

A change from the usual dead Ork. I read a story once(can't remember what book) where it described a scene where a Imperial guard trooper was slouched up against a wall/monument dying, when a shadow cast across the square for a moment and then the BOOM! of a Thunderhawk flying low over head. Wanted to capture that scene in this model.

Thunderhawk up next, probably towards the mid/end of the week.

Thanks guys,

So yeah, I thought to myself when I first submitted my vow that the thunderhawk  won't take to long...lol. But to be fair I've had waaaaaay less time to paint than I thought I would of. But managed to finish it and make a start to the LRR with a bust wrist, came off my mountain bike, fell about 5ft off a ramp. Funny thing is I fell on my left side but hurt my right wrist?  I swear the ramp moved. lol.

Anyways, pics.

There isn't any battle damage on this, 1. cause I ain't drilling into this thing resin/cost of model, 2. my wrist. :(    but mostly number 1 reason.

Still got the LRR and 2 vindicators to do, and want to at least vow a 2nd lot. The titan and my mounted command squad. But we shall see how quick the next 3 tanks get churned out.

Thanks The_Chaplain. Bit late, but better than never.  :biggrin.:

Been neglecting My beloved Templars for to long(need a break from painting traitors), and to feed my addiction of chainswords I've finally built my ToT relic weapon and the one entrusted to wield it....Templar master someone or other, whats his name???

The plan is to have multiple load outs, magnetised. Right hand magnetised at the hand, the left arm will come off and the shoulder pad will come away from that, to swap out the arm but keeping the shoulder pad the same.

Those command and marshal bikers are almost finished as well. Been working on them on and off recently to.

c&c welcome as always.

Got some sculpting done last night, and I'm really pleased with the results.

Half sculpted it, then wrapped a tiny chain around his waist to mark out exactly where the chain will sit then finished it off. The chain will be added back on tonight. Tried a few runs with a cloak as well last night but after several runs and it messing up gave up, twas late in the eve. Going to have another bash tonight.
