ultramarine dice

Recommended Posts

The time factor doesn't bother me.

As a side note, would it be possible for you to post the final artwork that we'll be using for the dice--just in case we want to expand our collection later (or as someone suggested earlier, modify the design to include a starburst or a skull)?

weve not actually 'commisioned' any artwork.. the chap is familiar with 40k and knows the inverted omega sign, so no artwork was necessary.

i just received this email from Jo

Hello again,

Your order can be composed of up to five dice colors per design

without affecting your price by quantity.

I do not, unfortunately, have either a White dice with blue spots.

The closest that I have to a Blue dice with gold spots would be the

Vortex Blue color. Would this work?

Joseph Kogin

Chessex Manufacturing

so white with blue pips is a no-go unfortunately, the blue and gold is doable but the blue would be a different shade

compared to the regular blue

(ive asked for an 'ultramarines blue'.. i think this is the closest they have)

so opinions on the colours?

Glad to see there are color options available, but sorry to see white with blue dots isn't one of them.

Since red is color for the seargent's symbol, do they have perchance blue or white dice with red dots? How about red dice with white dots? Actually, I think that'd look pretty sharp.

Oh definitely, the best look is the basic (solid) blue with white pips. Assuming it's ok with others, I'd also like to order 10 of the (solid) red dice with white pips as well (in addition to the other 40 I originally ordered).

Man, I wish they had white with blue. Do we want to try to see who's interested in the white with black dots as well? I'm ready to play sheep if others are. If this is another option we decide to go with, I'd take 20 of these as well.

I can see why people might want the blue marbed dice with gold insets though, since those are the new 2nd company colors...

we can have upto 5 colours in the one order

so far its the basic blue with white pips

http://www.chessex.com/Dice/Opaque%20Dice/Opaque%20Graphics/1612s/Purple1612.jpg

and we have a vote to include

red with white pips

http://www.chessex.com/Dice/Opaque%20Dice/Opaque%20Graphics/1612s/Red1612.jpg

white with black pips

http://www.chessex.com/Dice/Opaque%20Dice/Opaque%20Graphics/1612s/White1612.jpg

Scarab™ Royal Blue w/gold

http://www.chessex.com/Dice/Scarab/images/scarabroyal_big.jpg

all dice have the inverted omega (agemo) design in place of the '6'.. this is the 'design' and cannot be changed between the dice, only the colour may be changed without affecting costs

edit: all orders can be changed at this point, and colours of dice within those orders can also be changed

I like the Blue with the White pips. I would be down with 5 of my 20 being red with white pips though. I would like to be able to use them as the SGTs as well. If not enough people are willing to do the red and we get enough interested in the blue and gold I would be willing to substitute 5 of my 20 for that instead. Thanks again for doing this. I know it has been a lot of work. :)

And if I read things right, you can choose to have any number of dice in any of those four color combinations you like, and someone can also pick a 5th color combination without affecting our quantity price.

I'm still good with my standard blue/white

If it isn't too late, I would like 50 dice as well. I'd like 5 red, 5 white and 40 of the Scarab blue/gold dice.

no probs all sorted

please let me know if you wish to edit your order with the new colours

edit: ive updated post 1 to show the colours, total orders and who ive recieved payment for.. (marked in red)

Can I have the following:

  • 10 Opaque Blue (those awesome blue above!) with white dots
  • 10 Opaque Red (again as shown above) with white dots.

Reason being is Blue is the colour of Ultramarines, white is the colour of their sigil and the mix of red and white denotes a Veteran Sergeant!

Payment made! And I believe I speak to everyone when I say many thanks to greatcrusade08 for the effort he has put into this for us.

***Edit***

What way is the agemo sign facing? Which way is up right? I'd hate for people to say it is upside down! :D

Oh, was going to ask, going by the pictures above, are the dice rounded corners? I presume so. Prefer square cut but I'm not too fussed!
