The Traitor, ah cool I knew I'd seen it before. The mouth was from the hive Tyrant kit. As we're the legs. That's an older picture he's been reworked a lot since that. His legs are in a more aggressive stance and I've moved the arms slightly. I built this guy a few years ago and just couldn't quite get him how I pictured him in my head. The whip wasn't a permanent fix. It was so I could run him as a bloodthirster. His head will be completely rebuilt soon as well. I have an idea how I can replicate the artwork fairly closely.

Deadfingers, thanks for the link bud. I've never even heard of Dota. :tu:

Marius Pedro, great to see you back around. And thank you :tu:

Guitarasmus, thank you, here's where he's at just now. This isn't the final head for him, I have a spare Flesh hound from aos I plan on using as soon as I can find it.

Thousand eyes, Haha I'm promising nothing :P

So here's how the Daemon Prince is looking after being repositioned his legs into a more natural pose. Like I say before he was a bit of a mess, I had a lot of good ideas for him but just couldn't get them to work. I painted him really quickly for a game, used him once then he went back into a box.

There's still a lot of putty work etc to be done. I'll hopefully get time to work on him tonight a bit :tu:

Sagentus, thanks bud, I did some work tonight but not on this model :/

Teun135, cheers bud, I still haven't sorted a replacement for Photobucket but I have some proper time off work soon so will get it done then I think. Until then....

I sat down tonight fully prepared to work on the Daemon Prince and then I looked at my Khorne Daemonkin Codex and remembered that's how I want my Exalted Champion to look.

He's not quite there yet, the Sang Guard axe arm I used doesn't quite have the look in after so I have to do some careful cutting and reposing there. His head is still in the very early stages as well but it's too rough to show right now so he 'borrowed' the Dark Apostles head for the last shot.

Thanks guys. I think I'm going to remove the power part of the axe, it feels a little too heavy at the moment. Seeing the pose again today with fresh eyes I quite like how he's looking. Just need to get his helmet sorted.

What's your thoughts on the crozius for the Dark apostle? I'm thinking again it's a little too long/topheavy, I have the mace from the Dark Vengeance champion and I have a couple of mace bits from the Chaos Warrior kits so will maybe give them a shot too.

As much as i really like that axe head i think it might be a little to big for the overall model thinking about it. Maybe that will change one you take the power part off.

I agree with the crozius, I really like the DV one (which i was tempted to use) but it would be good to see alternatives. Just a thought, maybe try bending the crozius are at the elbow by 10 degrees or so, it might stop the crozius looking so big against the model and would look a bit more dynamic as if he is building up to hit his apponent :D

So that's a 3rd Blood Slaughterer

A Kytan, A Dreadclaw and Lord Zhufor as well as some Rhino doors and extra armour.

Cheers buddy, the armour plates are from the AoS khorgorath beastie. I hope they release a multi part kit of that at some point because it would be pilfered for all sorts of armour plates. I'm not too sure about his shoulder armour but he definitely needs something up there.
