So after seeing a guy at my club using some of the 3D printed shoulder insignia from PopGoesTheMonkey I messaged the guy to see about some WE pads. He updates the store with some on Thursday but I've only just noticed them today. I've ordered 120 of them plus some of the Black Legion ones as well so really looking forward to that package arriving. Now I just need to decide which colour to paint them. I'm thinking brass to match the trim, I'm really not a fan of the planets being painted to mimic the earth so I'll be keeping them simple.

Yeah I'm still around. 8). Spent the last six months building a 30K Raven Guard army. In about a week heading to the Nova Open to give it its first bit of table time haha.

 

Going to try to log on more often. Spent about an hour last night just looking at stuffs 8).

 

I've been seeing those shoulds popping up. They look pretty nice.

Spent tonight messing about with some bits for my Chosen, got 5 of the 8 built so far, just need to add a few more details and skulls/helmets etc to them. I'll get their Rhino build finished tomorrow night and then build the last 3 guys for this squad once I get the leg bits.

 

Wanted to use these heads as soon as I saw the preview for the Reivers. Happy with how they're coming along.

Those reiver heads look good. Proportions don't look off either. The helm on that center raptor is also sweet!

Those chosen look amazing, the reiver heads look fantastic on them. Really liking the raptors too, looking dynamic!

Those chosen look great! the reiver heads work perfectly. The only thing i'm not sure on is the combi-melta, looks out of place with all the plasma ^^

Hushrong, yeah the heads and shoulder pads are the same scale as the current range of marines so they fit fine. :tu:

 

Sagentus, haha yeah I will be swapping that as soon as I can source another Combi Plas. ;)

Bio make one your self, I found the chaos plasma gun and boltgun go together pretty well with a bit of careful carving ;)

Those Chosen are awesome! The Reaver heads suit the aesthetics of your World Eaters perfectly. Funnily enough, as soon as I saw the Reaver models I thought you'd like those heads! If your needing a combi-plasma, I've got a few of the 30k ones lying around that your welcome to?

Yeah, those Reiver heads were tailor made for followers of Khore really weren't they? It's cool that there's enough variety to equip a whole squad and have the half mask as a unifying feature without them all looking like clones.

Really like the banner bearer's point, it looks like he's singling someone out rather than directing the squad.

Full helmet ones, yes. The half mask ones, they really don't make me think in imperial anything.

The chosen look sweet, really like the Reiver heads, as it has already been stated. As for the combi-plasmas, with all the berzerkers you have, I'm sure you'll find plenty of plasma pistols to add to regular boltguns, zerker ones work specially well.

I love the your chosen! The reivers heads are great, I want to use some of those on some Hounds of Abaddon too. But I think there should be some butchers nails on the back or sides of the heads. Not much, just some.

They look great dude, it's very cool how the Primaris Reaver heads work so well on Chaos minis. You may have given me an idea :). I really like the posing on these guys too. Very much looking forward to the finished models!

Thanks for all the comments guys and I totally agree, those heads are wasted on the loyalist dogs. Much better suited to the Legions. :tu:

I meant to post this last night but I've mostly finished building the Chosen squads Rhino. I still want to add trophies etc but I'm not quite sure how I want to do it yet.

 Oh that's cool! I haven't notices it, but after you mentioned it I suddenly could see them. Really cool!

Sagentus, yeah they look great imho, expensive though. This Rhino cost a little more than two of my 'normal' ones :( Totally worth it though :)
