I really want to find a old school sprue with those classic melta-pistols. the one that looks like this guy's the pistol second from the top I trying to use all my classic bitz to add some nostalgic effect. I may be able to provide a modicum of assistance in this matter Brother, enjoy. Unfortunately the item in question is a Flamer Pistol rather than a Melta, but it matches the pistol portrayed in the artwork very closely. Oh my gosh, I remember that sprue. That power axe was my favorite thing ever! There's a Power Axe in the Assault Marine kit that resembles the one on the classic sprue if you're interested Flint, it's not a perfect match but it's probably the closest you'll find short of the original. I was recommended to look at your stuff by a buddy and after seeing you post in my Daemons thread, it motivated me to do it. Wow am I glad that I did. All the models have a ton of character and I love how you make them straddle that "these guys are a little nuts for Loyalists" line. Absolutely brilliant. I hope to see more! Midnightmare Posted October 1, 2015 Author Share Posted October 1, 2015 Guys, thanks for continued interest in the thread :) August - sorry mate, no updates for a while as, especially with the Call of Chaos and my forthcoming trip to Warhammer World, I am concentrating on the Black Legion's move away from 'Grey Plastic' Legion. These guys are having a bit of R'n'R in their sarcophagai, but don't, they will be back with a vengeance. Darth - Glad you stopped by :) I do love my angry vampire marines. This log has sat dormant for a while as I have concentrated on my Chaos and had a bit of a hobby break. Well, this wouldn't do, so here we have an update of sorts. To celebrate the release of Death Watch:Overkill, we at our gaming club have been running a 'build your own Deathwatch dude' style comp. Although it has kind of got out of hand in the end with us building a few different ones each and also talk of a proper Deathwatch RPG campaign. Naturally, I had to do a Flesh Eater, but I have also done a Flesh TEARER, just because why not. Some great character going on throughout and just loving the blue skin tones.
