Holy crap BC Sharp, that is FANTASTIC!!!! and it's only 50%?????

I can't wait to see it finished.

stobz

The vow is 50% finished. :) At that point, the dread was probably about 80% finished.

Looking at that Contemptor has healed my cataracts...thanks, Captain Sharp =)

Thanks, Greyall! I'm glad I could be of service. ;)

Yeah, very nice looking contemptor CSharp.

Thanks, Droma. Now, to just complete the rest of the vow so I don't let down the Master of Recruits!

And for an update on Rakiel: he's finished! (Well, excepting just a few small details that I can't be bothered to take care of tonight)

Finally got some good pictures on my phone as well. These are less washed out (they are a bit green though. I just can't win).

Tell me what you think, guys. He's been in a half-finished state so long, it's just nice to get him finished. Up next: bikers!

Nice Contemptor - love the swords and the little details

I would like to add my thanks to Captain "Master of Recruits" Semper for the motivation and support he has provided to all of us.

Also a big well done to all of us who completed the vow and a big hurry up to all those not yet there as time is getting short.

Brothers, the Lion needs you!

that Contemptor is amazing.... truly amazing. I have always been blown away by the quality of the work in this sub-forum, and this challenge has only confirmed that belief for me.

And as Brother Elmo says. The Lion needs you! Its the Time to strive for that last inch, that last yard. Remember, only in death does Duty end, but while duty lasts you will not die. You will keep painting and working and you will never give up!

Well done Wayward! Unfortunately I cannot see the pictures -am at work right now... <_< Will do so in a few hours though!

Now please don't forget to report it in the official LPC thread here. All that's required is to make a new post stating you completed your vow and add a link to your WIP thread.

Regarding the (well deserved) signature you can check out post 130 of this very thread (p.6)

Oh man, is that a Librarian Dreadnaught? Congrats dude, he's beautiful. I really like the Nemesis Greatswords paint job, they look like the psychic energy is rolling off of them in waves.

Do you play him as a table top model or is he just for show? I am || to buying a Mark IV Chaplain Dreadnaught with Plasma and 2x DCCW. lol

Best,

Paul

Just a reminder for those that want to add the vow finished pic into signature. Make sure it's side by side with other picture and that it respects B&C forum rules about signatures.

SIGNATURES: Signatures are an interesting way to add a little personality to your replies, as well as a means of providing links. Signatures will be limited, however, in order to keep them from becoming a distraction.

You may have up to 10 lines of normal-sized text. Larger text size or the addition of images will reduce the number of lines allowed.

You may have multiple images.

The image(s) must fit in a single space no wider than 800 pixels and no taller than 100 pixels high.

Signatures with image(s) that exceeds the maximum dimensions allowed will be subject to editing.

You may advertise your own web site or projects in your signatures, but links to sites with objectionable content will be edited and subject to banning (porn, etc.).

Brother Captain Sharp: That contemptor is amazing for both the paintwork and the dynamic action pose. Very inspiring!!! Brilliant work on the power swords!! :)

As for my own LP, the snail has moved forward another 5%... LPC Update

I am amazed at the number of LPC complete threads and the number of posts that have the LPC complete banner! truly well done to al those who have completed their commitment!! :)

All hail the 27th Hero of the Chapter - Cactus! This banner man... I'll take up drinking...

So now we have breached the 50% benchmark, do you guys think we can make 2/3rds? We need a total of 35 completions for that or 8 more! I beleive there are a few ready to complete - this weekend is crucial guys! So take your brushes and punish the Heretic! :D

As expected I noticed quite a lot of activity by BAs and BTs as of late so I would expect the last week of March a number of reported completions by said sub-forums. No laxity! Do we want to spawn a lifetime of Heresy?

And the usual reminder:

The following completions have yet to be reported in the official LPC thread here. All that's required is to make a new post stating you completed your vow and add a link to your WIP thread.

Grand Master Neo

Gillyfish

Lord Hail

Stuka06

Hail brothers, long time no see! I just crawled out of the pits of hell with my bolter (brush) in hand. The last model is ready i just need to touch up some details.

Pics and the official completion of my oath will be finished by the mid of the week i reckon.

Congrats to all brothers who have finished their oaths, i took some time browsing the oath wips and i can see that the chapter has some great painters.

Congrats again!

Sooner than Wednesday i reckon.Tuesday perhaps...

Though you will have to content with phone pics this time.At least till i can get again a camera.Though i feel it is an acceptable compromise for the time being no?

Brothers, all hail Hezekiel - the 28th Hero of the Chapter! Cogratulations Hezekiel in your FIRST EVER ATTEMPT AT PAINTING and producing such a great and tidy results! The future looks more than promising. Now go get you well deserved badge! (you can actually find it here in this very thread in post 130 - p.6)

OK. Now where do we stand? We need 7 more completions to reach 2/3 or 67% of the total. However we have now less than 2 weeks to the finish line. This means one full weekend and another one without Sunday in it (Sunday is actually April 1st). So guys, this is literally it! Put all your effort now for time is beyond limited!

For the Lion!

I just noticed that "Sigismund Himself" posted in the PCS thread that right now there are 55 completions for the LPC 2012. According to Cap Semper the DA have completed 28 so far which makes the DA completions >50% of the total!

Well done Cap Semper! Well done everyone!
