All done - Woot! I kept the freehand to simple wings/swords and text on this one as it does not include a dozer blade to get carried away with ;)

Here are a couple of quick photos - better ones at the weekend.

Thanks Urael :)

I apologise Brothers but I told a little untruth yesterday, it was not finished :(

I forgot the paint chips - rest assured that this has now been completed and photographic evidence will be shown tomorrow evening.

The Up-armoured Command Rhino/Razorback is NOW complete!

Pictures as promised - you should be able just to click for super size....

4th Company Command Razorback, Dark Angels

When the 4th Company deploys in full, the Company Commander rides into battle mounted in his personal Razorback along with his Veteran Squad. As he deploys into the thick of the fighting the Razorback can give fire support with it's roof mounted lascannons or heavy bolters (not shown).

Unique to this vehicle are the forward mounted Frag Assault Launchers which where modified by the 4th Company Techmarine from those fitted on the Land-raider Crusader. This are designed to send out a hail of shrapnel to disable and dis-orientate the enemy  prior to assault.

The Company commanders personal heraldry can be seen on the front corner of the Razorback, a black shield bisected diagonally with a green line with the sword of the Dark Angels uppermost and his personal motto (believed to be "To Forgive is Weak", although no explanation has been forthcoming as to why) below.

Extra inter-company communication systems have been installed as can be seen with the extra antennas.

Also written on the troop hatch is the motto "Never Forget, Never Forgive".

Just a thought though (since everything has already been said about the awesomesauce-ness)

Would you plan to convert a radar antenna so that you can play it as a Damocles? The rules are interesting you know... Particulary the orbital strike ;)

Thanks Brothers :)

That could be a plan for later but at the moment I have so much more to do. I may try to modify a Whirlwind turret but we will see....

Work is progressing nicely on the dismounted RW. The bodies where done last week and over the last 2 days I have managed to get the heads, pistol holsters, power packs and arms done. I am well on track to be done by Friday. I have mixed in some GW bits mainly for the Sgt and a flamer as the unit only comes with a melta as a special weapon. The Anvil Industry bolters are great though!

Sorry for no photos but the phone camera is not very good at taking pictures of black figures with poor lighting :sad.:

I will just have to wait till I am back with my photo booth.

The dismounted RW are now done - photos on Friday and as I seem to be in the black armour mood I have decided to do 6 bikers and 1 attack bike as my next project.

I need to make a head start on the RW backlog :)

Next is going to be a Ravenwing Attack Squadron of 6 bikes and 1 attack bike using DV RW and a spare sidecar. The marines have been modified to hold a variety of weapons, some from the Black Knights box. The melta is from the IG.

There are two bikes missing at  the moment as they are still waiting for the glue to dry.

Progress so far....

The DV torsos are done along with the powerpacks and the 2 extra heads. Sorry for the poor photos but you get the idea :)

I am planning to be complete by the end of Feb and so far it is looking good. I have decided to split these between squad 3 and 4 as the DV guys look too similar even with the weapon swap and I already have 3 members of 3rd squad done. This means that once these are done I will just have to do some more Ravenwing :(

I will just have to do some more Ravenwing :sad.:

Correction : I will just have to do some more Ravenwing :woot:

Looking good so far... regarding the similarity of the bikers, haven't you spared SM torsos so you can add more difference between the bikers? I plan to convert more DV bikes into RWBK and I think I'll swap the torsoes for extra RABF ones from the RWBF or the BK boxset.
