Kizzdougs
Great update Lorenzen! Personally I like the leather pteruges between the legs, they'll make him stand out from the 'regular' shroud. The Knight is looking brilliant as well :)
Brother Sanvael
Always an inspiration Lorenzen. Out of interest, how are you doing the red cloth on the grave wardens? I'm doing a similar scheme but finding my red is too vibrant.

Kizzdougs
Very imposing! The only thing that I'm not keen on is the twist in the torso, It just looks unnatural in that giant suit of terminator armour (I realise that that is how the Typhon mini comes). Can't wait to see some more work on him :)
GrandMagnus
Man I really want to steal that pose for my WB praetor. maybe with a maul instead... But a couple of quizk questions: the body is Typhons, right? The cape the axe handle, where is those from?
Lorenzen
yeah the body is typhons, the axe handle is a grey knight terminator thunder hammer i believe and the cape is from asterion moloc
Lorenzen
Progress! http://th04.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/f/2014/318/6/f/kael_t_by_typhion-d86cohr.jpg also got some reinforcements for House Makabius in the works too http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2014/318/b/f/errant_by_typhion-d86cpo4.jpg http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2014/318/6/a/lancer_by_typhion-d86cpsp.jpg Got lots of work to do on the knights.. more work on the errants fist needs to be done before its ready to be primed (not glued in place yet) and the lancer (which will be my Senechal) requires a hell of a lot more work as hes just blocked in for the most part (and not properly glued together yet) Kizzdougs, poom, Ramell and 9 others 12 Back to top
Hyaenidae
Man, that Termie is just downright brutal. You always have had a flair for modeling your mini's to look mean as hell. Can't wait to see more, man! :tu:
Kizzdougs
Awesome, dude!! The green, red and off white look great combined like that. The scar/wound over the left eye is a really characterful touch as well :)

Lorenzen
Glad you all like him so far, the scar over his eye is his signature look and comes from the original arti armoured version of the model i did *points to avatar* progress has been slow on him due to work and starting to plan out my next compeition piece for the heresy weekender.. however there is still some progress.. the blood drop has dried fully since the photo and is now clear rather than cloudy.. but i thought it was a nice touch to help add to the rather savage look hes got going on deathspectersgt7, poom, Kizzdougs and 9 others 12 Back to top
death given form
I loved the original Armaros, and your new TDA version is excellent. You've done well keeping him recognizable. Looking forward to your Weekender piece.
GrandMagnus
I had not even noticed that it was the same guy as your profile! Thats just awesome! EDIT: Oh by the way, the dead Ultramarine is from the Angron base, right? Did you buy a second base on Ebay or how did you get it? Lorenzen
The base is Angrons base, not just the ultramarine from it with a bit of extra rock for Kael to stride over.. I had a bit of a mishap with my angron model.. so he no longer requires a base until i replace him down the line.. now for something a little different.. playing about with some techniques trying to get a really nice silver armour colour and some contrast between the different metals on this model.. ignore the brass for now, its very very flat and not at all nice.
