Gunmonkey88
But those are some good looking rivets though! elmo 1 Back to top
Inso
Lovely work on those tanks :) (and the time spent on the rivets was definitely worth it ;) ) I think you need to have a break from tanks and paint some infantry in that gorgeous chocochip camo now :) elmo 1 Back to top
elmo
I would love to but I am still committed to 3 medusas and a Wyverns worth of rivets for the ETL.

Father Mehman
Well, looks like I missed another birthday. Hope you had a great one ! Both of those 'Blades made me a bit teary, just seeing them together like that. Think of all the death they will dish out to the Traitor, the heretic, and the xenos villainy. It's almost too much for words ! elmo 1 Back to top

elmo
Thanks for the birthday wishes but it does not cut any ice with the Commissariat.... Get back to painting for the ETL! Bowing to popular demand, here is a tutorial for my blue spotlight lenses Paints (Paint compatibility guide) Regal Blue Mordian Blue Ice Blue Blue ink Matt white Gloss varnish Method 1. Paint a base of Regal Blue 2. Using Mordian Blue, lightly drybrush a triangle from the centre of the spotlight to the lower edge 3. Lightly drybrush Ice blue over the Mordian Blue 4. Wash with Blue Ink. This will help to blend the shades together 5. Paint a Matt White "T" on the top corner and a white dot just below a shown 6. Paint over with the Gloss Varnish Edited June 8, 2015 by elmo Father Mehman, Kierdale and WarriorFish 3 Back to top
Vel'Cona
Awesome tutorial! This is different enough from my technique that I'm going to have to give it a try. Thanks! elmo and WarriorFish 2 Back to top
WarriorFish
Agreed, simple yet effective I will have to experiment too :) elmo 1 Back to top
elmo
I am having a ground-hog day... Medusa rivets night :( Should be at the weathering stage by the weekend so they will be completed by Monday or Tuesday with the last part of my vow, the Wyvern/Hydra starting mid-week and finished by the end of the week after - IF I can stick to that plan.... WarriorFish
Good progress either way, and a plan's no good if it can't make do with some changes ;)
elmo
Trying to multi-task - waiting for decals to dry.... I have had a go at a rough mock up of my Rough Rider Sgt.
