Thanks for the replies, finally got around to finishing a rhino.

Great pick for a Consecrators MotR. Sammael may have his particular jetbike mark, but that does not mean that other chapters do not have some relics themselves - particularly the Consecrators. Well done.

if you do a whole squad of them, you may want to consider a way to make the Master's stand out a bit more (which I'm sure you plan on).

I planned to make the scimitar the unique Jetbike among the company and using a converted variant of the corvex I been working on which I plan to have count as bikers, currently making a front plate with twin linked bolters, instead of using the heavy bolter.

Heres a WiP image

Still can't get the hang of this quoting thing because I'm old...

But I just have to say you have made my dream model there, that is amazing!

Some progress on the Scimitar.

Now to get the rider finished.

Love the graphics on all your models, looks great. Nice and clean.
My only suggestion is to maybe mix in yellow caution striping with the red to break up the graphics a bit. I think it'll add a little more depth to the paint schemes.

Great work man love to see this army completed. Inspiring. :)

Thanks for all the comments,

I would have to agree with you Isiah and Gillyfish with the design but I still do think the model is cool in its own way.

Thanks for the advice Master Toddius, I added some yellow hazard stripes to some areas on the jetbike but wasn't sure of other areas, also will use this advice to improve my Rhinos.

Finally complete

C&C welcome as always.

That looks really good and the hazard stripes definitely add something. One thing it might be worth exploring (and it may just be the camera angles) is to add some insignia to the front cowling to break up the black a bit. Maybe a DA/RW logo or maybe some heraldry. Just a thought.

Look Stobz! Robes!!! :D

A beutiful piece - Sammael is really imposing - a unique take on him! Congratz!

Love the base too - a case of "less is more"! Complements the Jetbike without drawing attention, yet it's characterful!

Edna probably wont like the command squad I got in the works.

Big fan of capes/cloaks

  • 1 month later...

I must have been away when you posted that badass command squad DR Sir, man they rock (even with capes ;) ) Jokes aside, realky cool looking grimdark dudes, I can't wait to see them painted.

Aaaand how about your latest offering? What a truly awesome Rhino, glad you took the advice above and added hazard stripes! Really great weathering and extra little bits make it just seem that little bit more realistic.

Carry on Sir.

I like the result and will probably add it to the termies I am working on and the stuff already painted.

C&C welcome as always
