C&C welcome as always

I think it's spectacular! Very menacing pose and the red stripe rocks! The checkers in the robe are a touch of class! The only thing I might have done differently is the choice of green for the cape... I'd go for black with red winged sword (for Consecrators that is! ;) )

To notch stuff here as always!

C&C welcome as always, also has anyone come across or know of any methods for painting rips and tears in robes as a method of damage without taking a knife to the model, I want to try doing damaged on the robes as well as dirt but cant seem to find anything on this.

Fantastic work! I love the paint and of course the old mark Terminator armor.

I had an idea about the robes, instead of rips and tears how about making them more stained like in the Shroud of Heroes description? Not with fresh wet blood but old dried up and then washed out over and over. I think of the robes as a much tougher thicker fabric that lasts a thousand years always being bleached out of ork and heretic blood by the Master of the Laundry.

That last pic, you really neede to have the power maul guy pointing to left field. :biggrin.:  Also, that old school terminator turned into "Belial" ( I guess), well, you have managed to turn that monstrosity into something that looks  very "over-the-top 40K", yet cool. Good job. :cool.:

Dark Rage I've just made my way through this thread (newbie here) and have to say it's all absolutely stunning; very inspiring stuff! My particular favs are your contemptor (particularly his plasma cannon! Just... wow!) and the veteran sergeant with the power club! Such great use of the DV company master, not to mention the otherwise bemusing rounders bat of doom... He really looks set to knock someone's head off! Also really digging the menacing glowing eyes & vision slit on your dreads. Thank you for sharing good sir!

Never really took much interest in bases, switched to agrellan earth a while back but been trying to make it work with other basing stuff like sand and stones. Just some attempts at bases using model clay, sand and stones. Need to pop down to local GW on the Wednesday to grab a few paints new ones seem to keep drying up on me.

Did some weathering on the 2nd Tactical squad and got some paints so I will hopefully make both tactical's into 10 man by Christmas.
