Knight of the Raven Posted May 14, 2014 Share Posted May 14, 2014 Seeing the bloody, gaping hole in her chest and the lack of the same thing in her head, I think she was in the middle of slidding down the wall when she was shot. ...something which I didn't notice before now, as my previous post proves. Also, sisters of battle do off themselves in the lore, such as after being freed from brainwashing in one of the Ciaphas Cain novels (or so I read on this forum, at least). They also carry a hidden switchblade to commit suicide in case of capture, as per Faith and Fire. Okay, so Miriya uses it to climb up a hole BADASS STYLE instead of the intended purpose, but still. Given the choice between slitthing their throats and getting sacrificed to the dark gods in order to summon daemons, I suspect sisters of battle will choose the former.
