I can but dream of having those plasticard skills, great job.

Sorry to hear about the poor tournament experience, but I'd reiterate what everyone else has said : 1) Your army looks amazing, end of discussion. 2) winning games is nice, but having units you enjoy using is better. Rules and effectiveness of armies/units will change, your army and its composition will remain.

I agree with sock. You and Peter form Darkworks have tremendous plasticard skills. Anyplans on making some tutorials for the less skilled? Just a thought!

well eldrick is a a secret passed down from peter to peter thrugh the ages.

 

but i can try making a tutorial,but what is it you like to see?

 

i been thinking of trying to make some warhammer videos and upload. but i have no idea how too.

 

and need too add darkangels robed spacemarine bitz to my bitz trade list.

 

i have a few more pocs, the freaper/lascannon mount arm is finally done,

now started on the battlecanon arm, right now it looks like a handbag, but hopefully it look like a mix between the knight cannon and a large forgefiend hades autocannon

thanks, hopefully ive it done within 1 to 2 weeks, and after that chaos spawns fornthenlegion, like you never seen them before.

 

and if any of you have any expirince with making youtube videos let me know, been considering trying it out, if i can make anything wirth watching that is.

I am sure it'll be worth it, to see how you do your thing would be worthwhile to learn for most of us. I'll definitely watch when you figure it out and put something up. :P

its a very slow and chaotic prosses for me, but thats just how i work, and again there are soo many super talented ppl jere on b&c that i wish i was just half as good as and ill be happy

This is seriously one of my favourite chaos warbands, colour-wise, and I've seen a lot. I really love these guys. The conversions are great, the painting makes them really satisfying to look at. They've really got something - spirit, you know? They capture a great chaotic essense and at the same time, they make me feel nostalgic for starting up chaos way back in the day and feeling that sense of hobby potential. You really took CSM and ran with them, and it's inspirational to see.

 

What I'm saying is feth the lack of nominations at the event, this is a great looking army. :wink:

 

e; how the heck do you cut plasticard that cleanly? this is sorcery.

thanks, the cuts arnt really that clean, what i do when i want to cut trim is all pretty much "winging it" i tag some bits together :cuss/file the outher edges to line up then use a pen or pencil draw on the desing then score it gently with a scalpel, after that i seperate the bits drill a bit cut a bit then use files to fix the final look, so again the cuts arnt really that clean.

and its really nice to hear you apriciate my army and the style i chose, and i think i know what you mean with the spirit of the models

and the plasiccard cutting i use the spell of filing

cut some holes filed themadded some squares and round things started on the cannom mount today.

so hopefully it will be compatible with the knights normal cannon and melta.

The battle cannon and trim are amazing! Just wow. Really good job on those! This army is always a great joy to look at.

Small outside. Looks more menacing that way.

 

What epoxy putties are you using apart from Green Stuff and which do you find the best to sculpt and cures really hard? (Only asking as I'm not too fond of the way GS stays slightly rubbery).

thats one wote for small outside.

 

greenstuff is great for small details the g9 greystuff os better for hardlines is goes more hard less rubbery.

and the privateerpress brown/aluminum putty goes rockhard when cured

 

and on a side note, its great to hear from you forte, you dont comment here nearly as often as you used too, was starring to think you didnt like my stuff :)

Don't like your stuff! No chance of that. Your scheme is consistently of a high standard. Your osl glows. And your conversions and scratch builds have me throwing my phone across the room.

 

It's all down to me now working and spending time in the Chaos forum (where time flows strangely).

 

Talking of Chaos...Call of Chaos starts on the 15th. Not that I'm hinting or anything :rolleyes:
