a litte late responce here, wanted to wait until i had more time and also hoped to have some pictures for you, but will have to wait tomorrow

 

Hmm I'm not sure. Side to side they look alike, perhaps it is just the length of the barrel that makes the AC seem smaller.

the reapers are slimmer and slightly shorter, looks better with the lascannons on it.

 

Possibly the angle of the photo as well? Anyway that thing is both lovely as well as monstrous.

i did do some low angle shots for some awsomeness :)

 

 

I think it might be that the autocannon are so much thinner than the battle cannon. But then again, assymetry isnt a bad thing, i dont think you need to bulk it out

I think one with a huge 'blade' has already been done with the Lord of Skulls, so perhaps you can go for a giant version of Khârn's axe?

tomorrow ill start on it, it be a knight sized chain axe with a mix of the knight sword.

hmm dual chains..... that might just be an awsome idea, will have to consider that, if i do go dual, should they be in sync or not?

tornament in a little over a weeknand im allready preparing to have my rear handed to me in everything.

but going over my army adding some mmore highlights and detailsnmbers on my objective markers.

That guy is pure awesome.  A lot of this stuff is delicious, and I wish you would use all your constructing prowess for good rather than this corrupt nonsense, but this guy in particular is sweeter than sweet.

i been thinking about true scale chaos marines, but, not sure if its worth all that work and might have to redo all my models and figure out how to truesxale terminatoers then, cant have them being smaller or same size as marines.

 

any thoughts?

hehe hey guardian you snug your post in right while i was posting, and yes a knoght sized chain axe, not sure if i have the pariance to make it dual chains, but will have to wait and see.

i like addin details its one of the things i enjoy about this.

Chaos has some of the best blog on here, maybe excluding the Horus Heresy crowd, but they usually also have chaos as well.  I put you up their with insane psycho, Raz, Raaas, Flint, malisteen, Brother Heimrich(sp?), kizzdoug, forte, and may other.  One of the best Black legion every(you and malisteen are fighting for the top).

marked them up on a bit of plasticard, then cut it out roughly, then filed them until they looked decent

 

That chain Axe looks brutal, well done! Can't wait to see it on the Knight.
