Good to have you back! The Chosen recipe is looking promising, although the one shortcoming is that all the poses will look very similar. Maybe you should also explore the option of adding a chaos warrior cape to a Marine without having to use the chaos warrior torso fronts and legs? It's quite easy, really.

 

Oh, and I realised that I still have a pile of bitz to send over to you!

Speaking of chosen, if you get a chance sometime, I'd love to see more shots of the squad you kitbashed from the Dark Vengeance minis - they looked great in both the WIP and army pics.

have a quedtion too what would be the modt bloody and modt cool to have a guardsman crushed under a giant foot or a space marine?

what would do the bigest blood splatter and what would look coolest?

thanks mate, i had this mental image of them marching in formation like in whfb row upon row of abbadons elite marines banners high,

but they are a bit limiting in leg poses but i made a few more and testing the options, will post some pics soonish ;)

 

and i can never have too many bits , more bits more! :)

Disagree marines have denser bones more cartridge etc etc there blood would be brighter but a human would completely explode with a well placed bolter round

Understandable, I was just thinking of the amount of blood that would come from the body once crushed under extreme pressure. Marines do tend to stay together a little better when shot with bolters, but I thought that was more an armor thing.

Well now. No need to waste good splatting power like that on a guardsman when you could be crushing one of the emperor's angels. You get to mix in ceramite fragments that way, too.

and ofcourse cant have a knight kit laying about without chaosing it, so slowly started added a few chaos derails and changed the trim from crosses to chaos points, still lots to do.

and almost forgot my 3 test spawns balefire legionares so overcone with burning hate that they lost control and burst into flames craking the powerarmour open and turning into ferral bests of chaos

Hmm first thing, are you planning on adding backpacks to the chaos knight conversions? Second, loving the spawns, really they're awesome. Love to see more of them, especially when you get around to painting them.

you mean the chosen? yes all those will have backpacks, still testing and seeing what i can pull off.

A very strong return to form, mate! The new Obliterator is looking excellent (I may just steal the weapons setup for my own next thamier-pattern Obliterator that I still need to finish) and the Knight is coming along swimmingly -- I have to admit though that your scratchbuilt Knight almost seems more interesting than the conversion of the stock model at this point... ;)

 

In any case, keep up the amazing work!
