Oh I recognized them, and it is something I think I may try myself as I have some sitting there doing nothing (they were originally going to be Flesh Eaters but didn't happen)

 

For the rhinos, I think Roman numerals idea out of the two, but what about a tally like the Khorne Daemonkin? It would look cool in your green glow but prob too 'Khorney' I guess. I think numbers in general could look a bit 'loyalist' tbh

I'd wager a large percentage of 30k players learnt Roman numerals from the legion designations of the original legions. :p

 

Do they have to be numbers? Like midnight said, I feel numbers are kinda "loyalist". Perhaps some form of tally, or look into numbers in different languages. Like this. Stylized Arabic numbers could look cool, and would be pretty unique.

my plan was to have both so annormalnmarking for transport 1 or I and trnsport 2 or II and so on but also having runes on them and so but manged to do highlights then ran out of time so gonna have to do without, now im off to bes, and tomorrow is the first 3 games of the 5

The epic battles are over for now, it was a great tournament as ever and im proud to say im improving made 26place of 82 platers in 40k

so about half a year to next one in case any of you awsome people want to come game you can google fantasia fanatic, im pretty sure there is a english version.

 

the painting contest was rougher than ever 18 armyes was nominated but only 8 spots and that was just for the 40k,

and proud to say the team i was in called "best in show" we where 4 on the team and we got chosen to be 4 of the 8.

 

again i only managed 2nd place, so ill do better next time, om first place was one of my team mates he made a converted army, looted space marines! so his theme was grots "looted" oh and a side note he is 14 years old and extreeeemly talented builder and painter.

hey everyone, so I have been working on my secret project and was kinda on a roll and it all come to a dead end, so i need feedback here, its the middle of the night and before going to bed im gonna upload a bunch of pictures, so the problem is the pose. the arms are set but the legs i ised poster taq to test the 3 poses i like the best, took a few quick pictures so there is still a ton of work to do it it! but hopefully you can get the idea of the poses anyways.

Quite like pose 2 though not a fan of the helmet in the hand. Looks like he's gently cradling it after placing it there.

I do prefer pose three. It's dynamic, awesome and quite resembles the vibrant energy of Horus that I believe is darkly reflected in Abaddon's character.

 

Im also with forte on the helmet in hand. Better drop that, as the claw isn't posed to hold anyything, and it looks a little unnatural.

That Abbadon is indeed coming along rather nicely! Great job!

 

The walking foward pose is the only one that doesn't really work for me: It feels a bit overly busy, and I also have a thing for Chaos Lords in Terminator armour doing static, iconic poses. Which is probably why I like the third option best: The Horus reminiscence is actually a strength rather than a problem, I think. I agree with Forté that the helmet idea might need more work, though. Or maybe the BA's heart would look better there? After all, Abby's really great at tearing out peoples' inside with the Talon...
