thank you all for the compliments, perhaps that possesed is Argel Tal, build those after listning to HH audiobooks

and glad you like Ahriman and Lucious if im still in the compatition my next model will be Khârn but its very competetive and not sure i can compete with airbrushed models

If the judges pass your models over for airbrushed ones i'll, I'll...I'll not be happy.

I don't have anything against airbrushing for big things like vehicles, but still...Just...nyar

Did anyone say "NYAR"?

(hopefully someone gets this reference, or I'll feel particularly old and geeky)

Also, I don't get the hate against airbrushing. It's quick, it's easy, it gives results. But most importantly: it'll never be a complete replacement for normal brushing.

Airbrushing - never have never will! Denny Crane!

Someone posted up they got a bag of tiny brass/glass beads - bag was choc full $2.50 I think they paid

You need 1mm no hole Glass Micro Beads from eBay. This product exactly. When you have it, drill a tiny hole with your hand drill into where you want the rivet. Then, with a nail, you drip a tiny droplet of super glue into that hole. Then lick your index finger, pick up a bead, and put it in the hole. Check out the vanity plate on my land raider, here, for an example.

BTW that bag of beads will last forever. I've had it for four years and it's still completely full. And I use at least 30 on each vehicle I've built since then.

thanks alot gonna order straight away, oh and that almost sounded like a challange! ;)

now stuff ordered yay, and now my next long term project, lets see if anyone can guess what this is?

We should buy ringside/tableside seats so that we can watch with earnest

slow and steady progress gonna make the main parts first then polish and add details once the main big parts are done

thats all for now

It's the base of a Warhound titan foot and you're insane.

Augustus that comment really made me smile, and later that day one of my friends said almost the excaktly the same, when he saw what i was working on.

Looks like you're off to a great start! Glad to see someone else using beads for ankles. I must say, the plastic card work on the toes looks flawless from here. Very crisp and precise. I look forward to watching this build. Good luck!
