also with all the rumors going about bigger marines, im kinda thinking that truescale might end up being the new norm, and if so i cant build anymore marines and might have to redo my entire army, it's just a worry i have.

 

Don't worry about that, the larger marines are going to be a special unit and won't replace the normal marines.(or at least that's how I interpreted the announcement video, especially combined with the fact that they recently released quite a few plastic marine kits.)

 

Talking about marines, that knight is going to rip right through them!

 

i understood it that way too but i think that people would use the new kits to convert up alot oftruescale marines

also disaster struck looking thrugh my models to get the things im bringing for the tournament i noticed models missing i think i lost a whole transport case, dont have time to look more closely but i might have lost a big chunk of army

hey everyone i been busy with family and haven't had time to do a update before now.

the missing models is still a mystery unless someone took one of my carrycases from the gaming club by acdent.

 

i looked and looked and just cant find them anywhere.

thanks alot mate, thats alot of nice compliments, im looking forward to updating the oblit counts as models and cast them in resin.

 

i didnt really like the stumpy mutated gellbrute so i made my own versions mostly out of left over helldrake bits, i think i have 3 of them now.

maloghurst was fun took forever tough and in all honesty it was true metal not NMM so it does make it more shiny.

 

 

im gonna have to use my plague marines more :)

 

 

i told you guys about the tournament here its twice a year one of swedens biggest its called Fantasia Fanatic and you are all invited to come play, its cheap and there is easy access not to metion store discounts and more.

 

anyway didnt mean to do all that advertising im just very happy because i won something!!

i have a odd question, if i should sell some of my count as obliterators, how much should i ask for them?

thanks augustus, the main reason i go is for the best in show, never really had much of a chance of winning the actual tournament.

 

so just aiming for fun and looking at army's.

 

and still no trace of the lost figure case....

 

the army i ran with is wysiwyg. cant fully remeber but think it was something like this.

 

black legion warband + helldrake formation + renegade knight

 

hq lord on bike powerfist and lighting claw, sorc on bike max lvl with familiar

troops are the teo chaos space marine units of 5

elites is the 3 terminators with combi plas and fist sword and axe

fast we have 3 bikes with 2 melta

then some nurgle spawn

havocs with autocannons

and obliterators

so far so good wanted a display board that would fit in my hobby shelf and be sturdy enough to carry without breaking so had to pin it, need to glue it and add plastic card to the sides that i cut then add details and buildings maybe even a backdrop.

i played my first 3 games of 8th edition 40k today agenst tyranids, trying to learn and building lists its really hard to get used to for me, i lost hard the two first games but going renedage knight i finally won last game.

 

 

have a 1000point tournament comming up and would actually aim to win this time so if anyone have pointers for me good combinations or ideas for good chaos lists on 1000 points please do share.
