I just have so much stuff I suddenly need to get painted, on top of work, that I can't spend as much time as I would like on these gribbly fellas! I'm usually left feeling a little meh with it but your colours and the subtle posing of the head have him looking rather grim and stoic. Love it. Spawns coming along great as well. I was meant to be cleaning out all my unneeded crap last night but i stumbled upon a few sprues and suddenly finding myself building the biker lord I have mentioned a few times. I am trying to kit bash it so I dont use any green stuff at all. I have just managed to finish another chaos spawn, like the previous two he is nothing amazing, but at least he is done! Fantastic painting right there -- makes me realise you don't get to show off that side of your painting nearly often enough, as your Word Bearers tend to wear helmets, right? And the spawn are great in game, surprisingly dull to paint. So I just finished them quickly so they were table top standard then only get them out for games! :D Few more WIP pics. It's not as archaich looking as the cataphractii nor is it as bulky and bulldoggy as the indomitus. The mini looks really cool, I think it's one of the better sculpts from FW.
