Hi all, I'm looking to start a Heresy army and have decided upon the mighty (and much belated) Xth Legion

 

So here goes - it works out at near 8'000 Points (bit mental I know) but incorporates every 'Choice' in the FOC barring Terrain.

This is a full size force as I intend it to be a 'complete' force (barring Ferrus Manus and other HQ choices), it is also meant to be a fluffy army, I don't play competitively in my area so not too bothered about it not being 'top-rank' however I do wonder if the sheer amount of foot slogging that may be required will work - the terminators will either be in the Eagles, Caestus, Spartan or Proteus as decided so it's more the Support & Heavy Weapons squads I worry about...

 

Thoughts overall?

At 8000pt, you will likely play apocalypse with titans and large ap2 blasts. So i dont think it will be that comptetetive. But this is one of the most amazing fluffy lists i've seen.

 

But why not bring it up to 10000 pt, and add a typhon or legion glaive (nice look pair with the fellblade). There are no lord of war limit in apo ;) one of each and your primarch, would add +1400ish, so room for more infantry which I think you lack

I'm hoping that they will produce rules and models for the Morlocks (them surrounding Ferrus' headless body surrounded by Phoenix Guard would be good) if I get those rules then I'd add in more Terminators as Troops (instead of the Vet Tac Squads) and use an Elites slot (unless they can be a Praetor AND Primarch's command squad) for Morlocks :)

I certainly will add in a Glaive and/or a Typhon at some point haha - I'll see about leaving around 1500pts free (that gives me 500 or so to play with) thanks mate :D
