There are few reasons I come to the bolter and chainsword anymore, and its to see the work posted here. The fluff and music really help immerse me into the universe you guys are creating. I hope to join you fellows into 30k one day, once I mourn the death of my beloved 40k Iron Hands, and saved up enough money of course.

"To all you bleeding from a broken heart, you know you have a brother here."

The best thing to ever happen was the 40k centurions, the black Templars becoming witch lovers, space marines bro fisting with xenos and the iron hands going hey self mutilation of the flesh to remove any and all weakness is probably not a good idea.

Now why would you say this jaspcat?

Because it bought my brothers to the heresy and produced work like this thread, it bought the grim dark back and it united a site with a love for the true setting that was supposed to be Warhammer

It still counts if its a bionic heart right? ;)

Let me translate this for my fellow Iron Hands players. "To those of you suffering from leakage of nutrient dispersal fluid from your damaged mechanical chest pump, you have a mechanically compatible unit here for you."

On topic though the work here (both fluff amd model wise) is most impressive. If I could find a single 30k player in my area I would switch over from 40k in an instant. I will be looking forward to seeing more.

There fixed that for you.

+++ Ref. Blind's Pass Necropolis+++

Back on page four, I posted a Marine that I ended up not being entirely satisfied with. Work on his bio and short story has already started. Who he is and what he does will remain hidden until he's been painted, but let's just say that he plays a large role in my Company. As I've developed his character the old model was no longer fitting for what I had in mind. Some of the parts may be subject to change, but this rendition captures the feel I'm looking for much better.

Thanks for looking, more to come soon! smile.png

Alright that's it. Gnaw on this leg to whet your appetite, gentlemen.

See, I actually do paint once every couple years! It's not much, but using this test piece helped me with the techniques that'll be put into place. On my next piece the yellow will lean a bit more into the lemon side of the spectrum.

That weathering looks outstanding Darth, how did you do it?

I have to say, you guys are really making me want to put my Angels Sanguine on hold and leap into 30K. ONly problem is picking a legion. I love the IX but after my Angels, Sann Heim and WFB Khorne I'm not sure I can stand another red army. Every loyalist seems to be doing the VII so maybe the V?

Or be strange, brother.

-III Legion, disgusted by their brothers' actions and the fall of their Primarch and psychosis, utterly rogue in a universe that despises them all.

-XX Legion Direct-Action Cell, loyal to the Throne over their Father(s), desperate to halt the invasion of Terra.

-XVIII Legion Retribution Warband, not knowing of their Father's survival on Isstvann. Pyromaniacs on a "scorched earth" rampage behind enemy lines.

Screw the baseline story, man. It's a big galaxy, and different companies were everywhere. Loyalty and treachery are blurred. Make use of that..... and join usssssssss.
