Morning guys!

As I delve farther into my ETL pledge thought it might be a good idea to post my progress in here.

With my Fellblade and Land Raider Phobos finished,I'm 1/2 way done so far.

Evidence:

Well, look who's back ;)

One the one hand, shame on you for not joining chaos this ETL!

On the other hand, yay! World Eaters! ;)

The tank's looking fine, especially the lush blue and the weathering. I can't help feeling that those blue panels in front would profit from some kind of XII numeral, though... And maybe some of those red, crossed chain decals would also work well on top of the tank, in order to break up the huge, white areas?

Lovely tanks indeed! The blue, as many have mentioned, looks absolutely beautiful. What's the recipe for it? And you did use an airbrush for it, no? If so, it seems like you did a bit of a blotch of lighter blue on the port side of the turret, just to the left and below the copula. Was that intentional, as the transfer from dark to lighter blue seems to be a bit starker there?

The tanks look really awesome ^.^ thumbsup.gif - especially the white. What's your recipe?

Although they would have looked even better as 40k Night Lords ;) :P

Evening bros. I need a few opinions on this. I really want some Word Bearers for allies for my Cult Horde. Which shade of red works the best? I'm partial to the middle one myself.

I've heard that FW's metallic red scheme for the Word Bearers described as "too fiddly" before. I can say that is defs not the case. All three of those guys were stupid easy to do, and I think they all look pretty awesome. Plus I really like the duality of the new B@C minis with the old school clotted blood metal scheme. Anywho, let me know what you think!

Replies!

@ Barabbas - That's from the Alpha Legion helms. I love all of them, but that one in particular is my favs.

@ Lokkorex - That's exactly what it's a kitbash of. I never liked the spindly little legs and arms of the FW Castellax, but I don't like the silly dome helm of the Kastelan. They look a lot more solid with just different limbs.

@ LYD - Thanks man! I will admit (as sweet as Dantioch is) I am always drawn more to the idea of traitors from the traditionally loyalist legions. The Ravenguard and White Scars just seem so perfect for defectors.

Sorry for ressurctinf rhis but what was the recipe for the middle one? Just gungrey and Minitaire red?

Dude. This thread has been dead for a year. Let it rest in peace (as per forum rules). If you have a question, use PMs.
