Swift reply o'clock!

Chaplain: I'm going to magnetise the heads, so I can swap depending on mood :D

hydra: my thanks to you!

now I said to myself I wouldn't touch the Night raptors I got until I bought the volkites so I could properly convert them. However I saw something that inspired me and couldn't leave them be. So terror squad headsman right here! Also a wee tiny detail on Sevs Glaive.

Blood has been spilled, blades have been broken, terror has been sown.

Terror squad WIP bolter as a place holder for volkite.

ThatOneMarshal, check back a page or two for his WIP on that helm :)

helter, that eddy turned out great btw, the light coloured dusting/wear on the feet in such contrast to the night blue armour makes for a far better finish than the usual brown mud, liking it a lot!

i'm not sure about the new terror squad, i dig the volkite idea, but i think the night raptor poses don't work very well on "grounded" models.

they kinda look like they're tiptoeing or dancing some kind of nostraman ballet variation.

the one on the left is the only one that works in my opinion, he looks like he's running at full tilt  but his brothers don't look natural!

and of course i'm looking forward to seeing Jago finished ;)

soon in regards the raptorterror squad, using appropriate basing I hope to resolve a percentage of that issue, Its my attempt to make being a night lord slightly cheaper monetarily :p

In high gothic his axe was known as Path Forger. The literal Nostraman translation was "to make the path, the way must be cut". His axe always found a way through, and if he couldn't use his axe to make the path, he would use his trusted charger "soul blaze". Terror and discord were his aims, with howling, crackling blade and chooming volkite, the enemy would run, and scream, and fall. He was Kamui, and he was fear.

Bit more to do on the base but I had to share.

So for "A tale of 18 hobbyists", a bit of ETL penance, and one painful wait later, got a little something I'm gonna be doing this month to restore my hobby lust.

Here's where I'm at currently. More dangly dead bits to add, lions need their paws back. Working on a nice bit of fluff to go with this inspired by the commander and it's name (cookies and an Internet to anyone who notices ;) )

THAT'S the type of modeling I love!

Kurama with his charging horses and now your lions... BRILLIANT!

Almost makes me regret doing AdMech... what can I use for such detail? A microwave oven?

Seriously, I love what you're doing with this.

Ciao,

R.
