Nice free-hand on the walker and on the skitarii's cloak. Very nice work.

Different streaks of brown based off mournfang, a couple of knots added and agrax wash.

Gonna do a second after doing the edges.

Really easy. I'm a :cuss painter and a one short of the full set so if I can do it, can't be too hard haha :D

With wooden frame, wooden armour, wooden engine and that would run on wood? When they sat on the wooden seat and turned the wooden key in the wooden ignition...it wooden't go!

If I'm doing edge highlighting I need to go to the store and buy a brown to do it I think. Til then my fellow magos, enjoy.

I'm unconvinced edge highlighting will improve the miniature, to be honest. The wood looks pretty snazzy as it is (imagine whole units with that effect...).

That wood effect is fantastic. It just so.........unnatural for Mechancicum/Mechanicus. In a good way, obviously.

Hey buddy, I hope you are feeling better. Sorry I haven't checked here in a while. I just looked through the last three page and there's some excellent stuff in here.

 

The prize, however, goes to that excellent Steampunk Dunecrawler. What a truly brilliant idea - and the execution of it is great. Was that wood a lot of work to paint? You're actually making me consider Mechanicum now....
