Malphaz breachers: iron hands fanatics brainchild

Raw muscle paint job: inspired and pinched from Aeternas who has also made some breachers of the Malphaz.

Cheekily decided that this would be the link across the companies ;)

Firstly go and check out Aeternas' thread in the Age of Darkness section it's his baby :D

Then mine is literally a series of lightened red streaks from khorne red using bleached bone to lighten, on top of a khorne red Base washed with agrax and leviathan purple wash.

To give it a little wet sheen, a bit of thinned blood for the blood God to finish!

 

And for this evening it is throwback Thursday after all!

And glad to see the Malphaz have gained a few more members ;) They look awesome, and cheers for the shoutout for the muscle pad. Now we have something to tie the companies (and Malphaz) together! Looking forward to seeing the complete squad. Working on my second now, who knows, maybe one day the 123rd and 101st company's breachers will stand together :P

Been a bit quiet in these here parts, time to make a little bit of a racket :p

 

First up we have an in progress Fire Raptor designation: Reign in Blood. There will also be raining blood but you'll have to wait for that :devil:

The reaper bit is also sweet and screams 40k. Love how he has the sand timer held out like "times up".

On the 30k transfer sheets, there's a reaper with a sand timer, so I wanted to mimic that, need to give him a little hood just to make him spookier :)

Vindicator Laser Destroyer "The Lightning Tower"

One of the few attempts made by legionnaires to garner the favour of their madman of a father, the crew of the lightning tower painted a mural upon the flank of their vehicle as a homage to the panel on Curze's armour.

Alongside squadron mate "The Dark king", whose own tank had was painted to match another panel, they sought the attentions of the Night Haunter by seeking out larger pieces of enemy armour, often using their little brothers to draw opponents into a kill zone, whereby they lay concealed to spring an ambush, eradicating prey in a fusilade of laser fire.

Alas, they never received the attention they sought, as Curze cared not for such displays, however within the 123rd and the Caradara, they earnt a respectable reputation for dealing with targets that often caused issue for Night Lords on the ground.

Distractions happen, dwarven sky boats have had my attention (if you're on Instagram or Facebook you may have seen something painted with a wood effect, Hi that's me :p) and my night lords sit quietly, patiently sharpening their blades awaiting Angelus.

However I still have a little time for 8th Ed so I will delve into primaris and I offer a (rough and ready) choice for those who care:

Red Knights, a name only blood angels successor who I have complete freedom with

OR

Celebrants, a challenging scheme that I have tried to dabble with before.

I reckon the Celebrants are worth trying. We don't get to see many colour schemes with colour gradients.

Either one is sweet. The Celebrants makes me think of the ol afire Hawks for some reason or another.

Some people don't like to keep their feet on the ground! I totally lucked out with a trade and this is how Sunday looks so far. Not one to make things easy for myself either :p

Just imagine that guy falling on you. Just imagine if a Volkswagen Beetle just leapt in fury into the sky only to come crashing down on you. On top of it all it hates you.

 

It would be quite glorious just like that mini.

If you think you can pump out decent amounts of Celebrants it would obviously be glorious, but I think both schemes are cool in their own way :)

There's only 4 things I know about the Celebrants and it isn't alot to go off:

They are 25th founding

The colour scheme

They were at Armageddon for the 3rd war

And they were duped in an Alpha legion plot by being sent away to a different region of space, So the AL could get at another chapter.

 

So I've got a reasonably free game if I do up some fluff
