Man, I love the Celebrants scheme, my absolute favourite 'canon' Chapter. These look awesome, colour transition is very well done!

 

I did do some very basic initial idea gathering a while ago for writing up an IA for them, but didn't get much further than writing the following quote and building a mini for Inq28 games:

 

"Aye, we are the Celebrants! For with a loaded boltgun in my fist and the Emperor's foes before me, what greater cause for rejoicing do I have?" - Sgt Laetor, Celebrants Chapter 5th Company.

I pictured them as having a very 'battle is joyful' kind of attitude, an almost Space Wolf-y aggressive enjoyment, but couched in the more typical standard Astartes aesthetic and vernacular?

 

I don't know if any of that is in any way useful to you but if it sparks anything off, feel free! Great to see the Celebrants getting some more attention, hope it gets them noticed even more!

I love the Inceptor attachment, mind giving a step by step of it? I'm planning on trying something similar once my Primaris finally get here if I decide to go Void Vultures instead of Blind Lions or Dusk Wardens...oh boy.

Go vulture! I had some ideas on a chapter with vulture in the title, they're awesome.

As for the step by step it's nothing complicated more an ABSOLUTE pain in the buns. Took me 4 hours to build him and it's essentially carving and cutting away the captains legs and torso rear, while trying to save the thigh guards from either model (I failed, hence the ones he has!) You have to shave carefully around the totems, and then carefully shave from the Inceptor half til they are close enough to mesh correctly. You will also need a good chunk of green stuff or milliput for gap filling the rear of the torso. The feet are just carefully cut and exchanged.

Patience is pretty much the key, and taking a little off the pieces at a time, oooo and having a miniature round file to expand the space from the Inceptor half where the arms meet. I'm due a delivery of a full set of the primaris half, I won't be building another but I can I show which bits need work if that will help?

Sneaking their way back in are the Reivers, unfortunately I won't be doing any more primaris for the foreseeable because I've a backlog and a project I want to do, and most importantly MyHermes lost/stole/binned my package containing the dark imperium half, which in turn took a big chunk of my mojo away.

Night Lords Recon squad: why mk3? You're not getting away that easy. Why no helmet? Helmets are for those that deserve protection. This isn't an assignment, this is punishment. You earn your way back to your brothers.
