So the audio book did not give a diiferent accent to Gendor Skraivok, The Painted Count ? That would probably be a significant omission, given his different upbringing. :sad.:

Possibly, although Sevatar's accent is hardly Eastern European and while Skraivok was from the higher class, he and the twins were from the same part of the city. So it is possible that his accent is more "aristrocratic" while the twins were more "streetwise".

But I haven't listened to it so don't take my word for it.

Ooh! That's a good one!

Right?

For me, its quintessential VIIIth legion. Every time write a Night Lord line this is what I'm thinking:

That some real posh sounding Night Lords you got in your head there. Well spoken for a bunch of murderers.

I now also want to hear Mark Strong say "Aye, Lad"

Yeah but ultramarines have an air of regality about them don't they?

Like terrace stamp, Donald sumpter, even Sean pertwee.

Then again.. mads mikkelsen and Anthony Hopkins are rather well spoken. And raiph finnes. Daggit.

All my bad guys are either Vincent Price or Christopher Lee so I can't say much either haha

Christopher Lee is pretty well-spoken too. And there's also Ian McKellen and even Patrick Stewart int he few instances he plays a bad guy. Hmm, don't know too many foreign actors.

What about Jim Carrey? He's a rather light-hearted fellow lol.

Then again.. mads mikkelsen and Anthony Hopkins are rather well spoken.

His voice might seem odd on an 7ft-tall power-armoured super soldier but gorram if Anthony Hopkins wouldn't nail the sadistic character of a Night Lord.

"A Loyalist Marine once tried to best me... I ate his gene-seed, with some Fava beans, and a nice Chianti."

Jeremy Irons is a good shout, he does unhinged pretty well. I always imagine my top boy sounding a cross between Tom Hardy in Layer Cake when he puts on a faintly refined air before falling back to Dragan Micanovic for quiet menace

I did hear the news about the FW cataphractii pads, but in case people needed some before ours got released, I just felt they might come in handy.

And yeah Augustus, they are. Links on pics.

Hail Brothers!!

The VIIIth Company - The Murderous Brotherhood - and its Lord Captain Arius Draken (Terran Born) stand in midnight clad to defy the lackeys of the False Emperor!

Ave Dominus Nox.

Hello again, I'm back with more questions!

So, a unit that I absolutely love is Raptors, specifically the 4th edition metal ones, however I don't know if they would fit the heresy? They don't seem to have an armour mark similar to any other patterns. However they don't seem like they have too many chaos symbols, which is a good thing. I know that we aren't the raptor legion but the models have awsome all over it, especially in midnight blue.

Secondanly I'm gettting down to making the fluff for my heresy company and I'm having trouble. I was thinking of having the company made up of primarily Terran veterans. I was thinking of them functioning like raiders essentially, with a key part of them being the terror marines. However the Terror Squads seem to be more Nostramon in nature, any ideas? Would you see Terrans take up that role?

It could be a non standard armour mark made specifically to strike fear into an enemy and from what little I've gleaned most terran astartes when reunited with their primarchs go out their way to adapt to his style of warfare I mean the world eaters got brain surgery to please Angron...

...I know that we aren't the raptor legion...

Wait, what? If there is any Legion specifically associated with raptors, it's us! ;)

I say totally go for the metal raptors. The're awesome, and if you hide or file down the sparing chaos iconograpy, I et they'd look great as terran Night Lords raiders.

That's not what "Raptor Legion" means. Raptor Legion is that idea the only special gimmick the Night Lords have going on is that they have Raptors.

I problaby could have written that better but yes I meant that while we love our raptors, we are not made up entirely of raptors.

10 raptors incoming! Now the only problem is that the only raptor squad I could find has no backpacks which really sucks however it was the only one I could find on eBay that cost less than $40. So out of the two jump oaks, MK 2 and MK 4 which one do you think would look nicer? I'm leaning towards the MK 2 because it's got a bit more of a brutal tone to it.
