The job letting me breathe and the ETL have pulled me back in. So I'm coming back with the objective of finishing my Sicaran as well as adding a full tactical and a moritat to my army.

As well as for the first tactical, I choosed to mix the types of armor considering the chaos (so to speak) of the siege of terra. So I continued with mix of Mk III (void combat specialized brotherhood), Mk IV, Mk VI and "Mk V" (or more accurately, mix of different Mk). They are still modified (WS-ized) but less so than the first squad, to earn time and try my best to achieve the vow.

Here are the first 5 :

The Mk VI is a 2nd ed. space wolf, slightly converted.

Modified Mk III legs and helmet, different torso, typical Mk V custom made armor

Only slighty WS-ized Mk IV and III (the helmet of the latter is trunked and filled).

I have long been a fan of your White Scars, they certinally do inspire my work. Can I ask, what have you done to the middle model with modified Mark III helm.

I've cut the end of the helmet, at an angle of ~ 45°. Then I've cut again the remaining bit, only keeping the extreme tip. I glued it back in the middle of the remaining space to make it like a 2 layer helmet (like if the visor is coming above the inner helmet).

I don't know if it's clear enough, I'll make you a side picture asap.

That conversion work on the helmet makes it look a little like a party mask . Very cool.

I'll try to provide some fluff with the painted mini. As you can see, he already experienced the danger of dual-wielding plasma pistols : he lost his left arm and half of his face to a misfire.

I love the shield dude, it's one of those pieces that really ties in well with the Mongolian influences of the White Scars. Plus it can be a great representation of a refractor field. The topknot, the wolf pelt, and the lion head could all be seen in the Sons of Horus, Vlka Fenryka, or the Dark Angels. The shield style however, would only be seen in one Legion, and that is the Ordu of Jaghatai.
