Ooh, brutal studs !  I like them much better without the helmets.. so it'll be interesting to see what you come up with following the clean slate so to speak!

Sweet, love the mail links darkened into a pattern, looks very swish and takes away from the blank space.

 

I was a little curious on the lop sided shoulder pads, but when I think to myself the reasons you'd have them different, they make perfect sense.  I like it :)

My only minor gribble with the helmets for your perfectionism, is the height of the helms inside their shrouded armour housing makes them look very tall and the armour very small.  Checking Sergeant Ulrach Termi' Breacher, the shadow above his helmet makes it seem a little shorter inside the shroud, giving the head more room.  I reckon a touch of shadow there would make them all fit perfectly.  I also prefer the mail armpit drapes of the first two over the third - it looks a little hap-hazard, as if it doesn't belong.  That's just my two pennies worth though.

 

Everytime I see this thread, I just want to paint my army in IH colours...

Seriously, though, lovely work as always. These guys especially capture the feel of the Xth as a Legion of clans, each with their own identities and aesthetics.

All you really need now is to do another four of these lads and their ride: A custom Caestus Assault Limo Ram. The frag assault launchers inside each boom have been retro-fitted to fire rad grenades instead. That ought to clear any landing site fairly quickly.

If I were to build a squad of Fleshbane it'd cost me a thousand bucks. God, they're mean. Too many awesome pieces.

Irad Cleansers, straight from their buddies the Mechanicus. These guys are radiation specialists, and once I'm done with the pics, I'll do a page design for the unit profile based upon those in Massacre / Betrayal, with a more generic name to cover similarly equipped elite Destroyers from across the 10th Legion.
