I'm also working on Rhinos and bikers at the moment. I even used the same Wrathmonger to show my Icon of Wrath. :) These look great buddy. I especially like the little GS touches. I'll be keeping an eye out for any cool ideas to 'borrow'

Cheers Mate :) I am sure your bikers will look boss; the basic bikers are fairly old nowadays but as seen on this site (Bro Heinrich and Augustus' Night Lords, as well as Insane Psychopath's Iron Warriors) a little imagination can go a long way with their posing etc.

I pretty much have everything built for my Daemonkin army now, including a Bloodthirster/Letters/Flesh Hounds and some Possessed. The latter I should really take some photos of as I based them on your Black Legion one. The only thing left to do is convert a Balrog into a second Bloodthirster.

There is no getting away from it now, time for paint!!!!

Quite likely, I had said to myself no more until I get something painted, but they look soooooo cool.....

....but for now, it has got to be paint - they have been the 'Grey' Legion for too long!

Thanks for the comment IP :)

How are you going to paint these guys Midnight? I ask because I've been very tempted to switch my Black Legion to the Daemonkin rules, but am trying to avoid red as I've used it so much on other armies. The bikes are massively inspiring as well, I'd have totally gone with bunnyears though :P

Cheers guys glad you like - it is a kit with so much potential, just them heads man *shakes own head* It's funny how I actually used one as a base for Urkrathos however......

As for Mr Chainsword Hands, he needs some greenstuff work to really make it part of him, and all the NL heads need some 'organic' work perhaps :biggrin.:

@ kobrakei - Ha, yeah I did um and arr over the Bunny Ears, but went without in the end; I do have some Berzerkers in the works which I should also post up, I am so lazy lol. They are totally going to be Black Legion however, Hounds of Abaddon anybody?   I am going to use red sparingly however, but there is no mistaking this is a Khorne Army. It will no doubt be expanded upon in the future, but for now, I am having too much fun with Daemonkin.

The only thing that grates is the lack of VoLW, but such is life.

For the Call of Chaos I have vowed to Paint all ten of my bikes, 10 Flesh Hounds and a Sorcerer (not built him yet!) Reason being I am going to Warpstorm:Battle Brothers at Warhammer World in November, where I will be teaming up with my Brother and likely his Iron Warriors. Sorry for the lack of recent updates, but the bikes are all up to this stage now -

Really getting close to finishing them now, a few final details, paint the tyres then final weathering. Bosh! Then it will be the Daemons.....

The Hounds of Abaddon are coming for you, followers of the Corpse Emperor.

Cheers man glad you like, just painted my usual way but used Troll Slayer Orange instead of Green. It is magnetized for an axe off the Dark Vengeance Chosen dude in the same colours :) Edited by Midnight Runner

Thanks very much for the comments guys! With a bit of luck I will get them finished today, just got to paint the tyres and final weather them. Looking forward to getting messy with weathering powder :D

Painting ten of the bleeders has been a right chore!!

It's the reason I did - thought it would be the gentle persuasion I needed!! Well that, and I need something for Battle Brothers November. I nearly vowed a squad of Berzekers, Khârn (Urkrathos on foot) and a Land Raider, which would have been more fun.....but I use my bikes every game so thought with my head for once.

But yeah, really enjoying the Black Legion at the moment :)

Finally caught up with this thread and I am almost sad. Now I will have to wait for updates like some sort of peon.

Loving your Black Legion look though Midnight, glad to see the style stays the same throughout. Looking forward to hearing how things go at Battle Brothers.
