Many thanks Thousand Eyes and Flint, glad you both approve :) the way I am going, I may even have a painted army one day.....maybe.

The banner/trophy poles are from the Wrathmongers kit, and certainly show his intentions.

Also, just to prove how far along they are -

I think I have dropped the ball with the screens iwo the handle bars, the green does look quite good but kind of detracts from the orange spot colour I have been using; the green is just to bright especially from table top height. I think I will re-do them yellow/orange.

Anyways, next update they should be complete....bases and final weathering (and screens, doh) to go :)

Looking good man, I don't think the screens will distract that much but I can understand the need to tweak things. Even if no one else notices you always will.

While you do tempt me with the Black Legion I can resist Khorne, mainly as there is so much of it out there already.

Edit: This doesn't mean people shouldn't do it and it doesn't look amazing and all, just wanted that noted :P

I know it's a bit ocd....but in real life they do look a bit bright.

tbh the Daemonkin Codex for me is a no brainer at the moment - my Black Legion is Khorne heavy and I have loads of Khorne Daemons....and it is such a fun Codex to use. Moar blood. Moar skullz. Grrr.

I see what you mean about the screens buddy, although I think they look great you could be right with using the orange spot colour for them. The bikes are looking great so far though. I need to get my finger out and work on mine.

Outstanding . For Traitors

Hey kheyoss aint the traitors, we're just loyal to the great crusade and the truth, unlike you....you...betrayers! XD delusional loyalists...whenever will they learn....

Thanks guy's, I am glad you like them. I am really pleased how they turned out, especially from tabletop distance (the glowy bits work well with the grittier bits). Now onto the other dudes, Bullous' Butchers. These are obviously more Khornate and we're inspired by the artwork in the Daemonkin Codex which I am enjoying using at the moment, sans bunny ears ;)

As you can see I went for yellow screens in the end (to match the eyes)

Thanks once again for the über positive comments, next up will be Flesh Hounds for the Call of Chaos and a Sorcerer :)

Thanks Nemac and GrandMagnus; glad you like :)

The weathering powders used were Mig Pigments Standard Rust and Dry Mud.

The rust was mixed with Dark Flesh (old GW colour) and stippled on. Once dry I then mixed the Standard Rust powder with water, and stippled this over the top.

The Dry Mud powder was applied wet over the wheels and under trim. Once dry it was rubbed away from the pronounced tread which wouldn't really have much (any?) mud on. To be fair I could probably do with removing more, or as one of the guys at my club says, maybe apply some Abaddon Black to the tread. I may revisit once my Flesh Hounds are done.

Damn I love your power weapons. I really need to learn how you do that man.

Thanks for the kind words, man B)

I am pretty sure I did a tute on them at some point on here, if not I will get it sorted for now check out our club forum, the mighty Flintshire Gaming Club -

4th post down, just substitute the green for Troll Slayer Orange :)

EDIT - Thanks ElDuderino, it's surprising what the DV Chosen kit and Raptor/Warp Talon kit can do to even the biker kit! Well, there are a couple of FW pieces in there and I have opened out the poses a bit, but that is it basically :)

EDIT 2 - I should say, most of them are eBay cheapies from humble beginnings if you look over previous pages, dismantled and repurposed. A lot of the damage on them is real lol

You live in Flintshire? That's totally an area @Flint13 should be living in ;)

Anyway, excellent work, as usual :tu: Though I do think the scanner screens could do with a bit more TLC.
