The Assassin progresses...

Witch Elf head fits the body, but I want the Admech Ruststalker head:

Minor surgery to match the underside so the head will slot onto the neck:

And in position:

- More GS work required to fix the armoured bra, and the left shoulder pad

Merry Christmas all!

Looking at her (the new, slightly armoured Witch Elf), I wonder if she will have hair coming from under the hood. It's always great to see you work, lamby. You always leave us guessing about what happens next :biggrin.:!

I've got a box of Witch Elves stored away- well, it's on my side table- and it might be high time I do something with them. Make some Death Cult Assassins or what-not. Thanks for the inspiration!

Looking good. Can't wait to see her completed.

Thanks!

Thanks!

- Probably no hair for her - she's more creepy that way

Stellar work, as always. Your thread is such a treasure trove of ideas, concepts, test models, and terrific finished products. I love it

Thanks!

That is an awesome assassin and the ad-mech head is very fitting.

It is also making me think of the assassin from the Hellboy movie. He was a creeper...

Thanks!

- Karl Kronen - it wasn't intentional, but she does look a bit like him, doesn't she?

are you my mummy?

Haha - Doctor Who reference, awesome!

More on the Assassin:

- Front arm with claws - only change made to the claw was reducing the size of the thumb, it was ridiculously huge!

- Went with a gun rather than a sword, so made this from an Empire flintlock - Decided to reduce the barrel down from the plastic one:

- Note the head changes.
- The arms are too long, but I like the weirdness of it

Happy New Year!

BAD ASS !!!!! Lamby BAD ASS !!!!!

Yeah, she looks suitably creepy.

She kinda looks like she's dancing/prancing across the battlefield.....

Appropriate really. :smile.:

Thanks guys!

An Ammobunker member pointed out that she looks like she’s doing the exaggerated cartoon sneak at the moment – this is because she is currently mounted on a cork for modelling/painting purposes. When I base her properly she’ll be leaping forward aggressively in a more of a ‘I’m here to kill you!’ pose rather than ‘Sshhh – we’re hunting wabbits!’

Awesome but now you've said that about the cartoon pose that's I can see.

What has been seen cannot be unseen...

Looks more like she's marching to me.

The North Korean Army march?

What's wrong with hunting wabbits?  They are known kitten sympathizers.

But I like bunnies...

Her spindly frame coupled with her pose makes her look appropriately creepy.

Thanks Augustus - creepy is look I'm going for!

Detail work on the crewman:

GS ring collar for the armour:

When it dries I'll scribe a line in the top of ring collar to make it look like an armour/helmet seal:

Detail on the 'breathing system' side of the backpack - got to love those Admech bitz!

And the 'comms system' side - yet to add a small antenna made from some thin wire:

And the back - not sure what all this does yet but I'm sure he needs it!

Thanks for looking!

Great detail on the Gun.

Great detail on the Gun.

Agreed. Excellent work

Thanks to both of you!

- Did you know the bolt action actually works too ;)

Small update - I'm calling the second Rogue Trader crewman done!

You're all probably over him by now, but here he is (sans paint...):

I need to come up with a better name tho...

Absolutely love your convertion work mate, realy good to see some realy the effort youve put in to make very model dame cool in their own right :smile.:

keep up the good work mate!

Thanks Warmasterwillie!

A bit of work on the Clockwork Custode - thought I might change out the plain armour forearm for the cool lion face one:

Had to fiddle about with the underside to take the hammer hand:

And done:

Thanks for looking!

Made a small knife (head for comparison) for the Assassin:

Then some meticulous micro-sculpting was required to complete the armour-bra, and added the knife and sheath, and that's about done for the Assassin!

Thanks for looking!
