I think the old yellow is more to my taste, but both look fantastic!

The older yellow feels more appropriate for Imperial Fists for me, I'm not a fan of the whole bright yellow feel for them, especially if they are siege masters and embroiled in the most vicious fighting in the heresy.

Hello all,

After spending a little time under the gaze of the Legion chaplains I have made some good headway!

I have basically doubled what I have done and kept them looking the part of the scions of Dorn!

Another huge factor is i just found out that there is a Horus Heresy league in my are and they need a Fist player!

I recently stumbled upon the Forge World recipe for imperial fists so i gave it a go and I have to say I am Impressed and by far the best looking Marines of mine to date!

I will try the recipe again but I will change a few steps, in person the color has so much depth but the process is a long one!

Small update with some big(ish) bad news

So the other day I dug my heels in deep and decided that it was time to do some serious work, however I failed to account for beer consumption and just like cars i have found one should not operate an airbrush whilst intoxicated, I found out the hard way when I broke mine beyond repair. lesson learned.

Thankfully before my "betrayal" of the airbrush I managed to get most of my ETL vow 3 separate coats of paint and 3 minis all the way here they are:
