Are the Alpha legion mk IV shoulder pads really mk 7? In all the pictures I've seen the rim looks too thick. :\

Chalk it up to another of FW's sizing inconsistencies across their HH range.

Betrayer, these look awesome, man. I'm more behind the bluer-hued AL but heavier greenish tints work too. Ah, the beauty of playing Alpha Legion. :D

I use whatever I want to use for the rocks/ground.  Whether it be cork, fine/medium ballast, gravel, etc.  Afterwards, I then use the Woodland Scenics snow flock.  I take the flock and put a comfortable amount, and then add PVA/Elmer's glue to it with a very very small amount of water and mix it until it has a consistency of mashed potatoes.  Then I just place it where I want, it dries up relatively quick and is consistently uniform!  The more glue you add, the smoother it is, the less glue the more clumpy!

Slowly but surely guys, here are the wip of my volkite squad. I went with a purple shoulder pad for my heavy weapons teams. Volkites are gettin there too

Are your recon marines just blue because they look totally different from the others?

They are a matte darkkkkk green blue, i didn't think my recon marines needed to be shiny and stand out, i may be using a similar scheme for my headhunters

Thanks for the feedback it's good to be back in it.

@recon Which scheme, the normal marines, the seekers or the seeker sergeant? And yes all three marines are actually Anvil, i sanded down certain parts and also mixed FW recon marine parts in as well

Oh! and the tabbard is anvil as well, i actually took it off to strip the paint it came out very grainy

Oh, he's the simplest out of everyone and the only one. It airbrushed. Prime black, base coat of honed steel or whatever very bright metal, like a true silver not gunmetal. Then a base coat of reapers gunmetal blue, light light wash of drakenhoff
