I'm not usually one to complain about mould lines, but the one on his left shoulder pad really takes away from the model imo. Very unfortunate if its actually mis-aligned as I really enjoy your paintjob

It's actually mis aligned is started to try and shave it off and file to down but learned very quickly it would do

More harm than good so I just decided to bite the bullet on this one

No the tabbard is not done at all it's barely stuck on there just to see if I want it on there I'm about to layer it with greys

I really liked your old seekers, made me think of the "Effrit."

 

Looks sweet though. I really like the bronze to tie it into Armilius Dynat's Harrow.

@arsaces. Thanks! Unfortunetly I just wasn't liking my old ones. The proportions were so top heavy. Hearing that the head hunters are completed by fw I am going to use them as effrit with a black blue scheme

That is correct. Had a word with the guy who has done the DA, BA, WS and AL upgrade kit. Told me has has done one alpha legion specific UNIT which isnt the termis. Then he outright told me hed done them.

@ak.... Those are probably the easiest of the schemes I use. Start with gray Vallejo primer. Next is a base coat of Vallejo air gungrey. Next Vallejo air steel just hiting highlights. Then two thin coats of tamiya clear blue... No green. After that I wash it with gulliman blue, darker in the shadows. Then wash appropriately with nul oil. Dry brush the whole think with Vallejo steel. The bronze is actually a brass from gw

Do you have to thin down Tamiya clear blue, or can it be airbrushed as it is? If you do, what thinner do you normally use and how much of it? Thanks! :)

What's your take on the AL upgrades I wish they would have done more MK VI

I actually love them..... Torso are a bit meh but I love the variety with the helmets.... The only one I don't like was the one they showed on the bulletin I actually quite like the rest I will be using them for a sniper vet swuad

Are you using the FW scheme or colours? Tried some test squares the other day with the new FW paints and scheme. I can get alot of green down. Maybe too much. Its the blend i struggle with. Any insight would be great.
