Can I ask how you do the snow for your bases? I have never been able to make snow look good on my bases and I think yours look incredible.

Wow thanks guys! I really like this blue as well.... All my special units and characters will be different colors but my main troops and vehicles will be the blue green

 

@joyous: it's very very simple. I use cork board. Paint it with the grey textured gw paint. Wash it with be Vallejo dark dry brush with a very light grey.

 

As for the snow it's just elmers glue and baking soda mixed and applied to the base I will post close ups later

This army is simply amazing!

The poses are dynamic and characterful.

My faves are the guy with the axe and the heavy bolter bloke who's pointing.

Wow...that easy for snow...lol. I have bought tonnes of 'realistic snow' products over the years and have been disappointed!

Ok I really need y'all's help and suggestions I have a squad of 5 warders but don't know anything about the fists I like the black and yellow but hate the red. Any suggestions on what color to replace that red with? Any other comments are welcome this is just a first attempt. Thanks!

Since it's a bluish green it'd really stand out and hopefully contrast well. Also that dude has the red eyes of doom.....

Love the overall model!!! Not in love with the axe, It doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the model. If he was holding the curved sheathed saber like he was Legolas possibly? Just a thought.

I don't remember which thread but someone had built a Marine with those swords looks great tho...

 

The rest of the model is amazing the head really ties in with the body...is that the Minataurs chaplain? That's the AL special character right? The backpack is awesome....great use of bits I would just change the axe for the sword
