At first I was like those are some nice terminators, then I saw the chapter master and was very impressed and then the ex chapter master and he is amazing! Glad I could help with the wire idea that flail is so cool! Also those bases are lovely as always. So in short all the awesome is in this update!

The ex-chaptermaster looks awesome, can't wait to see everything painted up!

I'm hoping the excessive gold and white will kind of make him stand out more from his brothers, to make it obvious who's in charge here. I plan on crossing over this white/black/gold secondary scheme to the terminators and apothecary as well, being his bodyguards and all.

Looking at his pictures i have noticed the little flaws and nitpicks that are quite glaring on him, so at some point i do plan to revisit him and once over his predecessor just to try and make things a little cleaner.

The ex chapter master looks amazing, he looks so primal! The current chapter master also looks really good, especially with the wet blood. Looking forward to the next update

I was hoping to create some deep contrast between the two models to represent the gap between the old leader and the new one, i hope the difference between them is great enough to contrast, whilst still keeping them tied together in the same army.happy.png Thanks you for the input!

this is my non converted "test" knight, testing the kit, looking at alteration points, test paint job (shamelessly stolen from a tau ghostkeel in an old white dwarf actually) i hope to write this guy in as one of three imperial knight freeblades for the force overall. smile.png

hope you guys like it! Will update when it/he/she is done, hopefully with a couple terminators too lol

Unfortunately i left a couple of the armor plates and the helmet at my friends house in the bloody box for the kit wallbash.gif

So that will put a slight delay on things, i should be going back over Wednesday so i can potentially start Thursday Friday on those.

Quick sampling of opinions for yall:

1- what color should the helmet (and maybe some stripes on the green armor?) be?

colors i'm thinking of using:

white, light red, orange, bone/cream?

2-what colors should i use for runic markings/sigils/etc.?

my initial thoughts were obviously moot green as the rest of the army, but i also want to kinda make him unique, so i thought maybe a dark purple?

3- should i change the highlighting style i use and try to do a complete edge highlight? i've gotten lazy as of late on most my models with highlights sweat.gif
