Well this was actually Yesterday. But I was able to play my first game at >1000pts with my Blood Angle Successor (See Photo Bellow), spent the day in the city and was able to land 3 games. Won 2, Lost 1 . Won Against Tau, Dark Angles.. Lost Against Orks (Overwhelmed by Bodies)

Good paint job on them. Did the Assassin work for you?

I will be writing a further conversation about the games in my The Chronicles of The Emperor's Harbingers Thread

But in summary the Vindicare worked well against the Tau and the Dark Angles but I could have won without it. Was the star of the game against the Orks, but then again my dice rolls in that game were VERY bad.. so it wasnt a great one to test it on.

Got my discontinued assault tech marine two days ago. Been soaking him since, and just realized there is a blood drop on his axe. Pretty cool. Gone through three layers yet. Green, red, black. xD

Well today I spent far to long writing up the games... but they are now on the thread. Please let me know if you want me to explain any other things clearer I like writing up my games as it forces me to think about them. But anyway I can improve is good.

I also spent some time building a Las/Plas razor back..

So it turns out that the bottom of Pringles tubes and tea lights are magnetic... I've just found my sheet metal source for magnet shenanigans :)

Means I *may* have to eat more Pringles though. The trails and tribulations we have to go through for this hobby...

Laughing, struggle on brother. We believe in you!

I've had a bit of a good run with painting these last couple of weeks and have nearly finished a couple of things long in the making – pics of that soon.

Another thing that needs to be finished is my sniper scout unit, so today I worked on the camo cloaks. What d'yall think so far?

Soo good! How'd you do them?

Cheers BL! I just painted random shapes using those colours in the background. The biggest shapes the darkest grey then getting progressively smaller / lighter, and overlapping them. I'll give everything a Nuln Oil wash next to shade the folds.

I stoped playing in 5th 4 years ago and im back for good now. I really can't figure out the best way to field my Death Korps and BA together, i just want a small amount of camping DK infantry like a simple platoon fr objective holding, my three leman russ's and the rest blood angels. i have a lot of other "apocolypse" models.. but i suppose they aren't really that anymore.. i don't know i'm too confused by the number of books i need to put together.

what is the total number of blood angels rule books? i just have the codex right now.

I've actually got a sourcebook guide in draft form, will hope to get it finished this month.

The main BA rules are the Codex and the two campaign books, Shield of Baal: Exterminatus (still available electronically) and Black Crusade: Angel's Blade.

After that there is Imperial Armour volume II Second Edition: War Machines of the Adeptus Astartes and a plethora of mini datasheets be they old White Dwarfs, FW downloads or out of production stuff like Shield of Baal: Deathstorm.
