Do they actually vote on Imperial worlds?

Broadly speaking, the Imperium doesn't care about the social or political structure of its worlds as long as they pay their tithes and implement Imperial laws to purge mutants, witches, heretics and Xenos.

With a million worlds to choose from, I am sure there are some that are democracies of some sort or another.

Further to this, because he's a HH era model, I wanted to hint at a story where in a world voted no on compliance and as such the IXth legion was sent to met out judgement. Just add a little flavor to things is all.

Pistol hand swaps are relatively easy on pistols. The DC sprue has almost every pistol variant in both right and left hands, excluding grav and volkite.

When in doubt a hobby saw/blade can come in handy.

When I kitbashed my smash captain and used a right handed Thunder hammer I had to do a fair amount of modification to make it look like a smooth transition.

While that is true, I also have the full arms for what I would want to equip him with, but all of those arms involve a RH melee weapon and LH pistol/shield. Opposite of what he's armed with now.

Also, I already used all the inferno pistols from my DC sprues elsewhere!

I'm looking forward to showing you all the finished product on my January adventure.

Also, I maaaaay let you lot name one of my upcoming squads. We shall see. It's always fun to add flair from the hallowed halls of this forum.

Question of the day, green or blue plasma?

yes.

Real Answer: It depends. Plasma is whatever color IRL but I feel like you want to do whatever stands out on the model. If you don't have a lot of green, go with that. if you have some green already, go with blue. Yellow if you don't really have anything that color but BA is considered warm already so probably going to seem lost without some OSL accompanying it.

All about green for me. Always had been, can't remember why...

I'm sure I can think of a reason or two...

On another note, I think I will go with green since I already have some blue in my bases. The new hell blaster box art uses that turquoise ~ blue while the how to paint guide circa 2014? Shows how to paint green.

When you heat something, the colour scale goes red > yellow > white > blue. I paint mine blue as green would just irritate my inner physicist. :biggrin.:

Plus my bases are already green while blue is a colour that I don't use very much on my BAs.

I dig it Karhedron! My ruined urban debris has a lot of blue gray in it. Although turquoise is more of a blue green, I can always test it.

In the Space Marine game for PC and console traitors have purple plasma and Imperials have blue, yet on the board the plasma is painted orange.

The good news is, if I don't like it I can change it.

Blue is super easy to paint as well. I just drop a dark blue like Kantor blue or Night Lords blue, drybrush something like baharroth blue, then white, glaze it with talassar contrast, then drybrush back to white again.

Doesn't take me a whole lot of time.

Question of the day, green or blue plasma?

both? :biggrin.:

I did blue plasma on my Hellblasters but I want to make a green one on the Sicaran Omega to represent it being a relic of the past as well as... well it will just compose better with the colours I already have on the tank
