Things are getting sorted now though, so I should have time to paint again soon. There has been some great painting on here in the last two weeks though! I'm off to log all the progress! ++ EDIT ++ Blimey. Well that was eight pages of awesome. I mean I've been keeping an eye on things, but it all looks pretty special when you look through the whole thread! A few questions first: Frozenfoods - could you clarify your vow for me please? I think you pledged 20 breachers to build, but you are talking about 40 on this page, and I'm not sure how many tanks you are putting together. DimDim - As the postal gods have frowned upon you, I have ammended you vow to just the 4 marines and the built russ. Lanky27 - your Sallies contemptor was stunning, but you said it was finished but there were no guns. Will it get some weopons, or shall I score it without? Nevindar - you said your apothecary was finished, but I've either missed it, or you haven't posted it. Can you stick it up here or point me in the right direction! zedmeister - your finished alphas look great man. I've scored you for five complete marines and the shoulder pads so far. Is that correct? Its a bit hard to keep track! depthcharge and LionofJudah - Can you guys just clarify for me how many completed models you have. I have you both down as zero, though you've clearly been busy! palak - are you adding that contemptor to your pledge or is he just there for fun? jeremy - where are you, you old ninja? OK. I'd better do a quick break down on the scores! Completed pledges Traitors 6 - 1 Loyalists* * with three risked by Slipstreams, ROBOcaster and Chaplain Mortis Points Scored Traitors 139.75 - 63.5 Loyalists Percentage completions Traitors 40.19% - 18.5% Loyalists So in summary, the loyalists are taking a pasting, with only 7 days to go! There will need to be some serious activity to turn this one around guys! The top scoring traitors are currently: Rage of Khorne with 66 points Sup00sed with 30.5 points palak with 12 points The top scoring loyalists are currently: ROBOcaster with 18 points MindofMetal with 7 points Raktra and Ironwrought Huw, both with 6 points Last push before the ETL guys, lets see some action! Kor'Vesh I just did it for fun as when I use my airbrush I dont want to waste the cleaning coming after it ;) I have done a bit of progress on the terminators, the gold part is on it's way. I built the knife to look like a special forces Karambit, an elite and specialist weapon yet it also has a savagery behind it. (Sort of like the blood angels eh? From Left to right: 10 Phalanx Warders. The Keen-eyed o you might be able to see how I managed to equip them with Power Axes and their Bolters (though they cant do this ruleswise v_v) Reposed/Rearmed (hah!) Plasma Contemptor Dread. PA Primus Medicae with a Sol Glove/ Power Fist (wasnt planned for but I had enough spare parts to put one together) Banner Bearer and Sigismund Lookalike from the IF command Squad TDA Primus with Thunderhammer (still trying to figure out how to model a shield onto him..) Made with a Spare Cata Preator W_P had lying about; also wasnt planned for but eh, I had the parts. Deredeo Dreadnought Thousand Sons Librarian for March of the Legions. Chain Fist + Grav & Kheres Contemptor 10 Combi-Weapon Seekers using Recon Marine Bodies 5 Templar Brethren That should be everything lest I forget anything! Edit: I DID FORGET! nevindar Posted April 23, 2015 Share Posted April 23, 2015 Where once a pile of bits was laying around...now Sabik Weyland, Iron Father, arises like a mechanical and metaphorical phoenix (do not mention it to him though, might invoke slight feelings of rage in what is left of his hearts). Also, a patchwork Dreadnought called Bombastus has been assembled. Flamestorm and Plasma cannon, Close combat weapon. Havoc launcher.Oh and the sicaran is also assembled.Now, since I feel like it and frankly will need it for ETL.. I've fully painted, weathered, based and varnished the following:- 1 Centurion- 3 Rapier Crewmen- 1 Tacictal Squad Sergeant with Combi-weapon- 4 Tactical Support Squad Troopers with Plasma GunsIn addition to these, I've also painted 15 shoulder pads for my existing 15 man Tactical squad. These 15 Marines have then been weatherd, based and varnished. So, all in all, a productive month. Built and base coated - 39x Breacher Marines, 10x Salamanders Pyroclasts, 2x Legion Heavy Support Marine (Lascannon), 2x Legion Apothecary, 3x Legion Outrider, 9x Salamanders Firedrake, 2x Legion Armored Rhino Carrier, 5x Contemptor Dreadnought, (3x complete with arms, 2x awaiting the order from FW) 1x Legion Spartan Assault Tank, 1x Sicarian Venator Tank Destroyer, and 1x Sicarian Battle Tank (which I am working on a conversion for, but that's still in progress.) I'll get some up close shots of each unit tomorrow when it's not pitch black and I can actually get up close without casting shadow over everything, lol. Zed - that is a fantastic group of alphas. Amazing work, and I love the bases too. DimDim - love the blood angel, the knife is great. I really enjoy seeing your work mate, every piece feels like it has its own personality, as you put a lot into them. Slips - great build sir. You are a machine. Can't wait to see it turn yellow in the next few months. OMG - an awesome model, and you are doing it justice as ever. Dantioch - I love your scheme - it seems really simple, but you control it brilliantly for awesome results. The hazard helmets are always a winner :) Lion - great progress - will you get them done? Nevindar - great conversion... He has menace! Anyway, my next three salamanders are pretty much base coated, so I might finish. Hopefully get some pictures up later!
