Legion Deimos Pattern Predator; Build

So let's build ourselves a Predator, now this kit is pretty much as simple as a Deimos Rhino the only difference is your adding more Armour and a cannon that can turn power Armoured enemies into pulp, so I guess I should start this build;

We find all those pesky components and clean cut prep and if need be spoon them pre build.

so we start with getting the main hull together till you reach this point.

Now we have to do something different, we have to trim off all the plastic here to fit the next step.

and now the turret plate fits yay!

now we attach the side plates, as you can see once you sit the turret on it starts to shape up

now we attach the exhausts and the front plate of the hull.

next we add the final touches like the hatches stowage cannon and dozerblade

then we assemble the sponsons (refer to other build guides if unsure) and there you have it, in all its grandeur the Deimos Pattern Predator. Next up on the review and chopping board is the Vindicator Laser Destroyer & Deimos Pattern Predator Infernus

Thanks guys, I was a bit slack tonight.... I didn't post any reviews I know I know and until.... Monday maybe Tuesday, I'll be going back to adelaide so I'll be keeping some reviews in check but I promise they are going to be worth it. I also have book reviews still to come but I won't push it to much after all E TENEBRAE LUX is just around the corner.

So I'm hoping if we win etl I will celebrate and maybe even start the warlord titan Review which will be a 4 part Review and god only knows how many parts for its build.

also @kurama how do those autocannon ammo hoppers look to the naked eye? Undecided whether to opt for Lascannons or underslung plasma cannons for some Iron Havocs

Side note I'm getting those rotor cannons for counts as assault cannons for some BA heavy support action

So minor update, just got home after a weekend back in the city, im extremely exhausted and just over traveling. But when I returned home I had this nice little package waiting for me.

@dantay_xv- council workers make :cuss money in the industry but it's full time work so it's better than working contract to contract, the money is more of an investment than anything as these products once done are heading to Sydney.

@Balthamal- to the eye they look ace I highly recommend them if your keen on the drum fed magazines

Secret Weapon; Runic Mountain Bases

So I finally received some 32mm bases for these space wolves; yes I know runic mountain ohh how 40k! But these are simply what I need to use for this project, now I have used secret weapon before and their quality is superb and they do arrive quicker than other overseas companies.

as you can see they do work with the whole velka fenryka style.

these should look good once painted up and snow flock added, so really it's good quality for the price and definitely worth the investment. I will be basing my thousand sons on the ancient temple range and hopefully will look great as a counterpart to the Wolves.

Congratulations to everyone out there awake at 1:30 am AEST you'll be the first to see this review, after waking up due to :cussing pain like no other :cussing thing in the world I thought well if I can't sleep might as well Review. I think my second set of wisdoms are starting to come through after 2 years of waiting and they've decided to finally cause me grief. So in saying that I thought what's a better time then to take a look at the MkIII Legion breachers.

now I'm looking at around 20 of these on my desk like the recon marines and im thinking these guys aren't going to make it to etl with my current focus being solely on the tanks for the event.

The legs look great other than minor flashing, there's no miscast or anything highly worrying.

standard MkIII Torso set, now really looking at the breachers it would seem to me that it would have been smarter to go for the entire squad in the bare chest plate rather than the ornament MkIII Tactical sets to blend with the plain helms, it's just an observation.

Weapon options, with no cast on hands which is now considered a rarity from forgeworld, I really wish they had of stuck to the standard cast bolters.

So this kit is still by far one of my favorites and it's one of the oldest by far, it goes to show you how a simple idea can translate into an amazing resin kit, it never needed to be over the top in ornamentation like the Medusan Immortals or Phalanx warders, this kit was designed with one theme in mind and that was to defend an objective
