Some great updates buddy. My favourite has to be Sarkon though. That pose is awesome

Thanks! The posing has been the most interesting aspect of building them.

I'm thinking of making the commander of the Fangs a dude on a Thunderwolf counts-as juggernaut. A single point of contrast for the :cuss load of juggernauts already in the army.

Over a year ago I was fiddling with the idea and came up with this:

The first member of Sarkon's Fang. I think I'm gonna make this a bolt pistol/CCW unit.

I like him, but I think I may raise the angle of his left arm a little:

This morning's creation. I have a lot of cleaning up to do, but he's pretty decent. In the version of the codex I'm using, CSM can take power weapons 1:5, so here's a power axe:

Haven't had much time to work on stuff, but I've added a few new Fangs.

First is a slight modification of the axe-wielder. I changed his left arm to one that I think looks more natural. I may have slightly overdone the armpit tubing, but I think once he's painted it will look more subtle:

Next I added a second axe-wielder. Similar, but still distinct. With all my creations it's a balancing act between symmetry and unique features, both of which I value quite a bit:

Then I made two more Aspiring Champions, in case I want to run the units as MSU.

First, the lightning claw champ:

Then, a power lance (will be used as a lightning claw or CCW, :censored: power lances) and a buckler of sorts:

Okay, I'm stealing that topknot/shaved down berzerker helm idea.  That's rather neat.

The first AC looks like he's about to make someone's day really bad.  Dig it.

Hell yeah, please do use it! Glad you like them.

Looking good!

Also Power Lances on Zerkers are Fun! 5 Attacks @ Initaltive, S6, AP 3.. =D

Yeah that does sound pretty good, depending on the opponent AP4 could be just fine on subsequent turns.

If you have done it right, you should only have one thing left to fight so the whole mob of Zerkers should be able to beat it to death..

Haha yeah, assuming I do anything right :tongue.:.

Ui, I like the guy with the skull helmet - has some 1st edition flair :happy.:

Glad you like him! Even though it's from the Berzerkers kit, I think it appears as the most daemonic/warp-touched element for the CSM in the Fangs of Cerberus. I'm trying to keep that sort of thing to a minimum, although they are in fact all possessed by the same daemon (Karanak). The counts-as berzerkers are a lot crazier, using the raptors/warp talons kit. Then the Brass Stampede proper (juggernaut riders) having the most warp alterations to their armor and weaponry.

Very nice little touches to the Fangs. Love that you do go back and look over models and do little tweaks as needed. Never an easy thing to do when you spend a lot of time getting things just right! Then when you look at it the next day everything looks wrong.

Yeah, at least at this point changes are fairly easy to make. I just dread screwing up when I paint, because having to strip paint means all the green stuff melts away too. A poor excuse to avoid painting, but the list is getting pretty long :P.

Been making some progress on the berzerkers. Finished all the Screaming Bell trim. Working on the brass parts now, almost done with that. Not being too careful, since I'm going over the black armor after all the metallic trim and leather/hides are done.

For one example (no need to see 20 pictures of trim) I'm already picturing how this guy will look fully painted, and I'm excited to see the result:

I just can't stop building stuff. I've been meaning to make a KDK juggerlord for a while, and now that Goredrinker buffs for sure apply to all attacks, the time seemed right.

Here's a quick mock-up I cobbled together. I give you Orodruin, the wraith sunderer, scourge of Iyanden. Rumored to have once been known as Viconius, an honored Blood Angels veteran assault sergeant inducted into the Death Company and killed in combat during an incursion by the Brass Stampede. He commands throngs of juggernaut-mounted Skullcrushers and serves as equerry to Arctos Gorehowl himself, acting as a stable command presence the mortal warriors in the warhost can rely on to lead them to victory. Armed with a lightning claw and the daemonic axe known as Goredrinker, Orodruin wreaks indescribable carnage on the battlefield.

He sonuds like he has angry issues.

Nice collection of pieces put together there but I must admit I am not a fan of the pose so far, I know it is only cobbled together.  But I am looking forward to seeing how he comes together.

Wow, this is a though one! Love the pose!

Where does that head comes from?

In my time as a lurker I've noticed you sometime curse the decision of an "almost only jugger army"; while I can fully comprehend, you should not.

They are a beautiful model, you are skilled at conversion and they will become a wonderful army!

"Stay strong frater!"

I have to agree that the "Come get some pose" on the Juggernaut isn't doing it for me. It reminds me of Dances with wolves when the guy tries to get himself killed.

I think I'd have a more aggressive pose, lean him forward and try to get the Juggernaut to rear up a bit, then have him brace with the lightning claw against the beast while preparing to swing with the Axe.

Cutting the claw arm just below the shoulder and rotating by around 90 degrees should give a good angle, then lean forward and rotate the torso a touch. That should give a good bracing position and the Axe would just need raising a touch with maybe a tiny readjustment at the wrist.

Other than that the rest of your conversions look ace and I'll be keeping an eye on this for some paint.

Thank you very much for the feedback! I'm not 100% set on the pose. My initial idea was more roaring with defiant rage, similar arm pose but leaning back with his head thrown back. I need to swap backpacks or trim down his helm to make that happen.

As for your suggestion, I think that would be really cool if he didn't have the Lightning claw (which I'm also not 100% sure about in terms of WYSIWYG loadout). IMO claws is fer killin' and not fer grabbin'. But then, 2 of my skullcrusher/biker champions are essentially already in a pose like that, so I wanted something a little different. Bolder, more confident, and if true to my original plan for the pose defiant and angry! Raaaaawr!

As for his jugger, rearing up would be really cool. I'm temporarily using the jugger of another model during this mock-up, but I think I'll use the rocky outcropping that comes with the terminator lord to make something a little more dynamic and interesting.

I dunno, nowt wrong with a good ol' "come at me bro" pose.

Many bros will try, and many bros will die. :D

Thank you very much for your words of encouragement!

The head comes from the WFB/AoS Skullreapers/Wrathmongers kit, as do the breastplate and the armor plates on his thighs. Or wait, the breastplate probably comes from the Blood Warriors (or whatever creative name) kit.

My lamentations have less to do with the all jugger army itself (which I love) as the amount of work involved in creating the heavily converted elements and then getting them painted. You'll note the overwhelming lack of paint on my stuff. :P I'm slooooowly getting them painted. Slow progress is better than none, I figure. By the time no one plays 40k any more I'll be done. ;)

He sonuds like he has angry issues.

Hey, I'm cool with that. He's getting there in terms of the pose, but not quite where I want him to be. He's a pretty angry guy, yep. He doesn't want to break away from the furious trope that defines followers of Khorne, after all... :P

Some green stuffing is necessary, and a few skulls/trophies need to be added here and there, but I like how he's turning out. I realize some don't like the pose, which is a fair criticism. I tried an alternate pose/loadout that uses the old school power fist that has the taloned fingers for his left arm reaching forward and grabbing the jugger's shoulder, but it just wasn't what I wanted. Orodruin is roaring. Le raeg of Khrone!!1 :blink.:

The Lord is looking incredible, mate! What a fantastic collection of parts! The one small part that keeps bothering me a bit, however, is how he seems to be doing that "receiving the god's blessing" pose on the back of a juggernaut -- maybe the lightning claw could also be tweaked in such a way that he seems to be steading himself with it atop his mount, for a slightly more dynamic pose? Just a suggeszion, though: If the theatrical angle is what you wanted all along, you were 100% successful! ;)

Thanks so much, Kraut!

I love that, "receiving the god's blessing." I was definitely going for that. It's funny, you and another frater had the exact same suggestion about the pose. For what it's worth, I tried out the alternate pose you suggested and I just wasn't as happy with it. He ended up looking like the two skull champions who are in similar poses, and I wanted something unique and over the top, borderline ridiculous for this guy.

Gotta say, I love him! I must have interrupted my studies a dozen times yesterday to walk over to him and check him out, thinking of what to do next.

Speaking of which, I bet my new additions will look very familiar to you:

Well, that's the best indicator that you've managed to come up with a great conversion! :) Two small pieces of advice, though, if I may: One, be careful with the angle of the head: It looks bent back so far in that first picture that it would end up being utterly impractical, even for a giy receiving Khorne's blessing -- he's still in the middle of a battlefield, after all ;)

Two, as I can say from my own experience, those horns on the jugger head work even better when turned around by a few degress and attached to the jaw at an even lower position, making them look like a natural extension of the jugger's head. Right now, they seem to be sticking out at a slightly strange angle, drawing attention away from parts of the model that are more important.

In spite of those minor quibbles, however, that is going to be one stunning jugger lord! Thumbs up! :)
