The Apostles of Quetza : ETL V Update

Recommended Posts

Awesome job, I love the feather cloaks, any idea what colours they'll be?

It "should" be rainbow colored with the legend of the Quetzacoyatl in mind.... but it'll probably be a bit more subdued and possibly irridecent.  Not 100% decided yet. The standard marines withh be a mix of jade greeens and terracotta red/brown though.

I did a color sketch of the Apostles of Quetza Sergeant.   Its a basic idea of the color scheme, but it'll likely change when the paint hits the mini a bit. Jade Greens

and Terracota.

A South American themed chapter sounds really cool. I don't think I've ever seen that concept before. I'll have to keep an eye on this tongue.png

Ps. El Presidente is a great model, very characterful.

Dito, never seen anyone run with that theme, and from what I can see this is going to be a beautiful army when finished.

I'm thinking the chain "macuahuitl" will likely end up jade (like the plasma pistol) with a red design on it.  The feathers will be fiery red-yellow, just to pop a bit.  I still have to finish the conversion on this guy yet.

The beginnings of "Commisar Yarrick"  .. the cyber hound is the power klaw. I plan on a servo-skull/cherub thing which also acts as his storm bolter. :)

I'm usually not one for updates without a picture, but posting pictures of primed minis isn't all that exciting. Suffice to say. The Apostles minis I have built have been primed/reprimed, the Inquisitor/Commisar Yarrick rebased and the East Point Academy Polo and Tactical team is in the process of being primed (Stormtroopers)

I made the decision that the Apostles of Quteza (for now) will use the basic Ultramarines Chapter tactics. This allows me to make my own version of Tigurius.

Pictures soon.

After being distracted by dreadnaughts for the last month, I've given El Presidente some much needed attention. Though not as much as he desires, but he IS a primadonna.  He now has his aviator sunglasses, a new thumb and his base is finished. I can finally glue his legs to his body. Also started on the details of the greatcoat, hopefully that will be finished soon along with a couple details on SPEC-Trooper 001

Its a quick update with little substance, but here's some of the parts for my Apostles Terminator Sergent, plus the beginnings of his obsidian power sword.
