Luca's WIP Death of Desire

Hello everyone! After a year of not being able to post (just lurk) I have finally been able to get back into the hobby. The project is a very large scale one; basically a diorama/game board that for the first part features a Slaaneshi Daemon incursion on an Imperial Outpost (I will hopefully get to write a little bit of fluff as I go and complete various parts of the process).

The first aim for the project is the Imperial Outpost that will provide the backdrop to the diorama itself. This is going to be themed on an obviously Imperial world that has only recently been taken over by a Slaaneshi cult along with various daemon and monstrosities as the planet starts to degenerate into a hellish world. Think lots of imperial armour liberally sprinkled with daemon 'perversion' and corruption!

My first task is to start to develop some modeling skills; greenstuff is going to be a necessary friend! I've started by modifying one of the major guns for the base.

I've also decided to corrupt a space marine statue which will be recessed into the wall of the base:

Cheers guys! Nice idea Damo1701, will definietly be using it; just need some new greenstuff to arrive next week. Meanwhile here's some more work on the next gun, again needs some greenstuff and the 'horn-blower' will be gripping a small chain with 'her' free hand.

Excellent! Always good to see more disciples of Slaanesh. I particularly like the turret conversion!

Thanks Squigsquasher, I'm afraid I'm a Blood Angel at heart though... I've added a little bit more to the turret. I've used Damo1701's idea for someone melded to the turret (ongoing) and I've hung a Cadian out at the end. The idea being that the daemon infused machine is slowly (and agonisingly) forcing a daemonic possession of his body; the extremities are already morphing into a Slaaneshi daemon. C&C welcome as always.

Is it going on a base, or straight to the table?  (Only asking as I love the idea of a blood pool under him lol)

The aim is for it to be recessed into a rock wall, basically part of a cliff that will provide the backdrop to the rest of the base. There will certainly be some sort of 'gore' pool though!

I've moved back to the second gun for a bit. Again, this may be recessed so the back of the weapon hasn't been touched yet. It's hard to see but the impaled fellow in the second photo just has the tip of the spike showing coming through his chest.
