The so-called Black Templar bears the Armageddon Crusade badge.

I'm pretty sure there were no Primaris Marines at Armageddon.

Therefore, it would be a logical assumption that the leftmost Primaris in the middle row is not truly a Templar, and is instead an Alpha Legion infiltrator.

Morelikely he is an "uplifited" Templar who is now a Primaris Templar.

If he does I,ll post them here.

So with the edition changes I actually hope that we,ll get to pair Chainswords and Bolters since they seem like a strong match for thinning units before going full RIP AND TEAR on the ones that were unfortunate enough to survive being shot first.

I wouldn't say confirmed, because that poster is just showing off how they look as they also said this.

Here’s a page from the upcoming Warhammer 40,000 book, showing off not only how those new Primaris Space Marines look in the colours of some familiar Chapters, but also showing off few whole new ones:

It's from the actual book, not some child's crayon coloring page. That's enough to count as "confirmed".

Again not really. Read what they wrote "how those new Primaris Space Marines look in the colours of some familiar Chapters" They literally just picked some of the most popular chapters an did color schemes for them so players could see how they look. Doesn't mean that primaris are being forced into the Templars. It might turn out that way but as of now a poster is not enough to confirm that  is all I'm saying.

??? It is already confirmed. I dont know which guy, but it was a stuff-member of GW who already said BT get a own Crusade with Primaris...

(at first there was the question which chapters get the new Primarines and the GW-guy said most chapters - especially they had been in Gathering storm )

Burying your head in the sand isn,t the way of a Templar. Accept the burden no matter how great, rise above it and win in the name of Sigismund and the Emperor.

And by burden I mean just accept that we've have Primaris marines forced into the chapter, as has pretty much EVERY chapter (starting with the ones who took large numbers of casualties recently, which includes the Templars who lost an entire Crusade) according today's community post.

So we have Primaris in our chapter. Let's just be happy they didn't give us any witches.

Duncan, the painter.

Sword Brethren will likely be Ld9. But depending on wording that might limit us to 9 Neophytes max.

LRCs are still looking to be our best horde unit option. Sure they're still super expensive, but they're basically tougher than before and rock a 2+ armour save.

Hmmmm very interesting, person who leaked these is obviously a Blood Angel player. Good stuff though. I've been curious about the stats on the Thunderfire cannon for a while now, and I find it has been nerfed IMO. Heavy 4D3, Strength 5, Damage 1, no AP modifier. I would have thought it would have been at least AP -1.

Were gonna see BT rules any day now. I see our character points are up. I don't have an hold dex near me but we're priced low to mid 100s. EC was 108 I think.

With everybody rolled into SM, if we get similar treatment to the BA leak it sounds fair.

Helbrecht is more expensive than any other, save the big two Ultramarines (and is tied with Pedro Kantor), which I find a little surprising.

I take it that being 40 points more than a filthy witch and 20pts more than Darnath Lysander will be a good thing for the High Marshal.

EDIT: Also, it looks like GW finally realized what Grimaldus' baggage Cenobytes are worth...2pts each. laugh.png

Yeah, I've noticed that about our High Marshal as well. Interesting how his rules will turn out. I don't expect much changes, but the Blade of the High Marshals should be deadly.

What is probably most shocking to me is the increase in costs of regular transport vehicles, Rhinos for 70 points and Drop Pods for 100 seems like an enormous departure from their regular prices. They'd better be worth it.

From what we know about transports I'd say those prices are perfectly fine, Rhinos are now tougher and you can assault out of them, same goes for the Drop Pod now that you can assault from deep strike and it doesnt scatter.

It is costly but S6 -1AP D1 .... no rend?

I'm not really sure what to think about the assault cannon now.

314 for a bread and butter lrc if we need to buy weapons.

I believe we do need to buy the weapons.

------

So everything I'm seeing they are trying to be smarter about points but some of the values are getting much higher.  Will we be seeing 2500 or 2250 be to new standard because of point inflation in some areas.

It does have 3x the number of shots as before though.

I really hope we don't have to buy weapons because that's pretty absurd for LR's. The Phobos pattern is well over 300 points.  LR's were pushing it at mid 200's even with the big buffs they got in 8th

It looks you will need to buy all the wargear.  They have a statement right under the listing of "Points per model" is listed (Does not include wargear.)

The only time this seems to be not the case is for named characters.

Crusader's are 13 and 11 pts for Neophytes.
