TheOneTrueZon
 The funny thing is that GW doesn't even try to hide how the things are rigged in the imperial's favour. Oh well. I suppose the 13th Black Crusade campaign shocked them. Sucks that having the campaign rigged seems to be the only way for imperials to win.  Although I don't disagree with you, this is going on for 6 weeks. There are definitely Chaos releases planned within that timeframe which will automatically boost their numbers as buying models counts as points toward that faction.  But the Imperium will still win. /s  If Chaos ever had a time to really show their dedication, this would be the time. GW has certainly put the effort into showing us in real time what the stats are at any given time.   Mod edit reason : No Politics Edited July 27, 2017 by Lord Thørn

GW has certainly put the effort into showing us in real time what the stats are at any given time.  How do you know? So far everything points towards the next bigger chaos release being Death Guard which would be more at the end of the whole campaign....which fits my claim that the whole campaign is just to promote/introduce the new Death Guard while selling shiny new Primaris. ^^

Panzer
Fun fact, it told me my nearest store was in Wisconsin...Anyone wanna help me out? My locations on the sideboard. Dunno about your specific case, but you have to search for your hometown in the searchbox to find the nearest store. The default setting of the map just shows any random shops in your country (or shops near your providers access point in your country...who knows). My locations on the sideboard.  Don't let the Cicatrix Maledictum lead you astray...  You're practicality in my neighborhood, there's plenty of places within 10-20 miles of Simi Valley. Here's the short list:  Games Workshop - Oakbrook Plaza 1724 E. Avenida de los Arboles Unit D Thousand Oaks  The Game Ogre Llc 1145 Lindero Canyon Rd Unit D4 Westlake Village  Warhammer - Giacopuzzi Plaza 19755 Vanowen St, Suite A-6, Winnetka Kisada, Brother Aiwass and Ranwulf 3 Back to top

I think many of us have full time jobs and won't be getting our games in until the weekend...patience, brother. Â Â This. My FLGS does 40K nights on Saturdays, so that's all we really have. Might be able to get in other times, but have a job kinda puts a cramp in that.

My locations on the sideboard.  Depending on where in Simi Valley you live.  GW store in Thousand Oaks and one in Winnetka.  Both are about a 30 min drive from you.  Also Game Ogre is in Oak Park.  That's about 45mins  Game Empire is in Pasadena.  About 45 mins  Green Tower Games is in Santa Clarita.  About 35 mins away. Expecting it to swing towards Chaos on the weekend is implying that all the Chaos player go to work on weekdays but the loyalist player aren't. :D
dogfender
I'm still failing to see why people are so concerned over getting games in. It's already predetermined. And if anything I'm sure like the last time with the eye of terror campaign, smaller stores will just make up game results bc there is no way of checking. Play for fun, but thinking anything you do will matter... well you need to wake up a bit lol Galron and Vesper 2 Back to top

Quantum
So how do you register newly painted units? Do you simply need to go to a store with a unit, or do you somehow need to prove that the unit truly is newly painted?

Panzer
Nah it keeps moving slightly but it is as it is. Imperium is winning over all but Chaos doesn't just give up/Xenos are bothering the Imperium elsewhere.

It is in context in participating in the predetermined game. Yeah go have fun, But all that 'score' keeping and GW updating the webpage is smoke and mirrors. Play for fun, just don't be a fool thinking your wins do anything. Vesper 1 Back to top
Spinsanity
Beyond the continuous "the cards are stacked in the Imperium's favour" complaints, are we sure the campaign is set prior to Mortarion's campaign against the 500 Worlds? Â What if his pulling back was a ruse and he just attacked another system from another angle once Guilliman was feeling secure? Â I'm just curious if the story so far specifically mentions the fate of Konor?

What if his pulling back was a ruse and he just attacked another system from another angle once Guilliman was feeling secure?  I'm just curious if the story so far specifically mentions the fate of Konor?  Well it has to be set during the Plague Wars. The new Space Marine codex states that Guilliman spent a significant amount of time after the Plague Wars in Ultramar helping with the post-war rebuilding and reconstruction efforts before his duties to the Imperium summoned him elsewhere.  The Ultramarines are no longer in Ultramar any more either. They left to perform something called the "Vengeance Campaigns" elsewhere.
Ranwulf
Few things:  First, I don't really care if the fate is pre determined. That is not the point for me in this campaign, here is what I think its relevant: 1)Getting to game more. There is more incentive to play it, and many more players.  2) Being a part of, even if not much, of a big event like this is cool. Its just cool, I don't need a medal or a throphy, or something saying I'm the BEZT because I played it, its nice knowing I was once part of an world event. It gives me the proper feeling of a community that sometimes 40K can take away because of cynism and elitism.  3) This is perfect for developing personal fluff. My Wild Host is now part of the fluff, even if they are not registered in the whole storyline. Will Jonh from the UK know that my Eldar fought against Chaos? Most likely not, but I will know, and I can even add that to my army personal fluff.  My Wild Host fought today at Praxima Skyport against the Emperor's Children:  http://img03.deviantart.net/91e1/i/2017/209/8/7/wild_host_on_konor_by_alkaidwolfie-dbi0jc3.jpg http://img06.deviantart.net/e018/i/2017/209/3/f/wild_host_and_a_knight_by_alkaidwolfie-dbi0jj3.jpg?1  Unfortunaly, the Wild Host killed many of the Warband, but they had to retreat. However the Farseer faced the Sorcerer in single combat and slayed him.  Ran Antarius, Lord Abaia, Large and Moving Torb and 6 others 9 Back to top
