Great work Brother!

I'm loving the graduation on the checkers; really well done there, they provide a fantastic point of interest because black can look a tad bland by itself. Yet your black highlights are also very nice :biggrin.:

Thanks! Yeah, especially the larger models are pretty bland all in black. The balance between adorning the armour and not going overboard isn't easy as well, don't want to checker everything! Looking at my earlier models, I might revisit some of them to add some more interest.

Beautifull Dreadnought !

Thanks mate!

After two months of waiting (and almost a dispute) my transfers are finally on their way! While I was waiting, I've painted up the other walking killing machine.

'Swiggity swooty, I'm coming for that heretical booty.'

That's a fantastic model Brother, great spot colour and cheques as usual :tu: the ones on his shiny are wicked!

After years of dragging my feet, and months of the mail dragging their feet, I finally recieved my transfers! Too bad it's with the white backing, but I didn't want to pay more and wait longer for Custom transfers. I'll make it work.

I've choosen my good old Leviathan to be the first model to recieve the new bling. I'm fond of the big guy, but with all the new dreads right next to him, they really put him to shame! Here he is before I'll pimp him up a bit. I'm planning to:

- Clean up the highlights

- Red Checkers on his right leg, similar to the previous Contemptor

- Chapter symbol on lower left breastplate

I would like to place something on his shoulders as well, but I'm not sure what, or if it's a good idea at all. Don't want to go overboard with the decorations.

I love that big guy so hard! Forgeworld is always sold out of the dark angels chassis lately, i’ve been itching for one.

No wonder, it's an amazing model. You have to act fast when you receive the notification that they're back in stock. I've already missed out on a couple of models minutes after I recieved the mail.

All done! Made some choices about my lads and did some experimenting while I had a big canvas to work with.

- Cleaned up the highlights, I did a bad job the first time around

- Did the standard checkering on the legs. I like it, probably wont stop doing it.

- I finally decided on going for the 4th Company, the 3rd already has enough representation from our brothers. Did the company colours on the right shoulders, it came out alot better than I expected!

- Had to improvise on the Consecrators transfer. The white backing is opaque as heck and forms no problem, but the red emblem just turns black when placed on the model. Had to colour it in manually. Easier than true freehand, but still a pain.

- Placed a HH-emblem of the Iron Wing on his left shoulder. Seemed the most appropriate designation of the beefy lad. EDIT: Man, I just noticed I placed it upside down!

Looking nimble Brother, keep us informed
...

He wouldn't have survived for 11 millennia if he wasn't nimble! Better keep up that streak! :HQ:

Next up in line, a golden (pewter actually) oldie. Recieved this one a long while ago from DarkRage, and it finally recieved its long overdue lick of paint. I have no love for Ravenwing units, but I really enjoyed painting this one! Trying to avoid to make it a floating block of black was a challenge though.

That's an excellent collection! Well done!

Thanks mate!

Really nice alterations Brother, cept that one bit :smile.:

Thanks Brother! Lesson learned for the next one

Mighty fine Scooter for the Hunt Brother.

Very nicely done on the old mini.

Thanks Brother! Hope you enjoyed the older models, because I have a couple of boxes of Primaris coming up next :happy.:

Lovely stuff as usual. I like the traditional decals on the white background. Provides some nice contrast, and makes the Chapter badge  "pop."

Some inspiration to get stuck in on the decal application

Thanks! I don't mind the white background, it's just a pain to do without proper transfers. Not a problem anymore!

The company shoulder pad on that leviathan is amazing, I might have to snag that technique for my next dreadnought!

I'll await your take on it, I'd would love to see it! :biggrin.:

Still have some Goliaths and Seraphon to paint before I get back to my Marines, but I took a small detour to correct some issues. At the start of my journey into the Consecrators, I painted up the contents of the B@C boxset, including some Cathapractii-termies. I was pretty proud of them at the time, but no longer! My preferences with my black dudes are pretty locked in at this time, and the Termies looked more and more out of place with every new unit joining them in the cabinet, to the point that they were just a eyesore. So I decided to update them to my current 'style'.

Here's their previous coat of paint:

And here they are after the update:

Now I'm off to paint my other ongoing project! See you all after a couple of months :biggrin.:

Looking great!

Thanks mate!

You know I'm a big fan of dreadnoughts and those new dread additions look awesome.

The speeder looks great too and I really like the new details on the terminators, the new style combined with the decals really making them look sweet.

A bit of a copy-paste of my post in the contest, but here's my vow for Lucifer's Challenge. Representing the three stages of Brother Arkham's carreer with the Consecrators.

I touched up some areas on him as a Agressor Sgt, added his insignia and and some trinkets that he had from his time a Heavy. I was pretty happy with the result, but comparing him to termies above, I feel like he could use some more freehand. Maybe I'll revisit him again in the next couple of weeks.

Next up, his early carreer as a Heavy Intercessor.

Long time no see, mate! Thank you for the kind words,I do hope I did your models justice!

I have always liked Consecrators and it's great to see new addtions to your army. And they look absolutely cool!

Thank you for the kind words! They're a far cry from your quality of work, but then again, I guess few painters get close to that particular level. :happy.:

I normally don't post single models when they come in a squad, but this counts as an exception for Lucifer's Contest. Here's Brother Arham in his early carreer as a Heavy Intercessor and his updated model when he promoted to Agressor. His eventual internment into a Dreadnought is coming up!

Almost done with the dread. I'll have to finish it by tomorrow, or I'll have to put it on hold for a couple of weeks.
